I worked at the Las Vegas Hilton in 1971, and got to hear Elvis every night. Working there all day and part of the night was like being in an Elvis Presley movie. I'd be setting a table and over the intercom would be: "Vernon Presley: Telephone." I had fun doing things like asking the pianist during the day to play Elvis tunes to add to the excitement. I would be eating in the commissary and I would see about six guys dressed like the Jetsons with walkie-talkies come down the hall past a bunch of windows checking to make sure all the doors were locked, and then they'd leave and in a few minutes would return escorting Elvis to the stage making a circle around him. Elvis would smile and wave and I would do the same right back. He was very fit and thin then. Imagine doing your job with Elvis singing live: "Well it's one for the money, two for the show---" in the background.

Wow Jordan. So many you tubers and others have requested an interview with Angie but it wasn’t approved. Leave it to you to pull this off! Fantastic❣️⚡️❣️⚡️❣️

Wow who knew about that TV ! And the Mohammed Ali stories.. way cool about Mike Douglas Show and Elvis's phone call.. totally sounds like Elvis! Your vlog is great! She went above board to explain some cool details about Him. I met Elvis at Market Basket with his Cadillac truck he had special made, I was 11 at the time, he showed me the car let me sit in the front seat ! I thought he was the coolest guy. The bed of the truck was a stainless steel diamond t pattern.
You got some special info about that Cadillac truck, that car is rarely mentioned and one that got away that most people don't know about. So do you have any more info? I'm trying to track it down and track down some history about it...

He makes everything feel so special. I just love everything about this channel from the music to the intro to how he presents all of his content. You can just tell he has really been loved throughout his life.
I am not an Elvis fan but I am a fan of the era and the memorabilia. I love Jordan's enthusiasm and I love Angie for her stories and all of the artifacts we see. Thanks folks.
Really enjoyed your video. You ask all the questions we would all like to know. Interesting hearing how Angie got her job. She got the BEST JOB in the Elvis world. She so lucky. Being so close to all of Elvis belonging.
Jordan you are the best. Your interviews are so interesting and informative. You are a natural at this. You make people at ease so they are able to relax as you interview them. I really enjoyed and learned so much. Thank you also Angie Marchese. I could listen to your stories forever. Thank you again Jordan for this wonderful experience.
I could sit and listen to Angie talk about Elvis for days. She seems like such a wonderful lady... filled with incredibly interesting stories spoken about with care and thoughtfulness. Thank you for the video!
I was almost 5 years old when Elvis died. My parents were hugh fans. Nobody believes me that I remember the news on the radio, I was standing on a chair and my mum was dressing me. I think I remember because it was the first time I seen and heard my mother cry. All the way over here in Ireland and he's still loved ❤️❤️
Great interview Jordan. I can hear as much passion for Elvis in your voice asking those questions as I can in her voice answering. 💜Elvis and Graceland. Thank you both for taking us back and keeping Elvis memory alive.
I've seen her in a lot of other shows and interviews. She really does have a unique job and she's awesome at it as well. You r interview with her was very good. Thanks for taking us along with you!
Relatively new Elvis fan here. I love the whole thing with Angie not allowing anyone upstairs to look at Elvis’s bedroom as to do so would be deemed disrespectful to Elvis’ memory and would disrupt how he originally kept it - not to mention, upset Lisa. What an informative woman.

That's not the real reason he shot the tv out about Robert Goulet. When Elvis went to the army Goulet was doing something with his girl a show or something And Goulet told Elvis dont worry about your girl.I willtake care of her while you're gone.Something to that effect.Marty Lacker said that.
42 years of Elvis’ life being archived and converted into a museum...challenging, labor intensive, a lifetime obsession, and immense daily joy with pay. How cool and a blessing is that.
How am I just seeing this now? Awesome video Jordan, I'm younger but always been a fan of Elvis. There will NEVER be another like him, truly one of a kind.
Angie is awesome. Her knowledge, enthusiasm and genuine love of people, (and Elvis) shows. Always a treat when she speaks. Another great vlog Jordan. We all appreciate the break from normal life with a chance to relax, learn and explore with ya everyday.

Hi Jordan, well, Angie really has done an AMAZING job with all Elvis's belongings, and what a lovely lady she is aswell. I could listen to her talk for hours. I love how absolutely every item has a story to be told. Great vlog Jordan.
What a delightful, knowledgeable woman Angie is! Thank you for reaching out to her, Jordan. This was a fantastic, dynamic interview; one of your best! I haven’t been to Graceland since 1983 and enjoyed every minute of this recent series. Much appreciate your excellent coverage and the evident excitement that comes through in the questions asked on subject matter, particularly “The King”! You are genuine and consistent as usual! Angie's knowledge and enthusiasm is AWESOME! Loved her stories and good-natured demeanor. You asked her some GREAT questions, Jordan. I will probably never get to see Graceland in person...so THANK YOU for this splendid vlog!!!
I really enjoyed this so much! I went to Graceland on a bus tour with my Mama and my Grandma back in 1991 I believe and it was an incredible experience for a young girl. I was 12 or 13 at the time, and it fostered a lifelong love of all things Elvis. I really want to take my daughter some day because I know that things have changed dramatically in the area around Graceland since then. Fun fact; when we toured it our tour guide told us that Elvis had an Aunt who was still living in the house when we were there, that was really fascinating to me at the time. To have a relative still living there really blew my mind. I still have a bumper sticker that I bought at one of the gift shops while we were there, I also have a picture of the three of us standing in front of Graceland. Thank you for sharing so many cool experiences with us!
This was a really great interview, you are a real natural and asked some great questions that only an elvis fan would think of asking. Well done and thank you, thank you very much.

So glad to see that Elvis’ treasures are in such good hands. This interview was so informative and fun and respectful toward Elvis...with some tongue-in-cheek mischief thrown in!
Fantastic interview! A big thanks to Angie for being available and sharing. I was expecting more ghost stories since Elvis' family members experienced things. Surprised to hear Angie opens Graceland.
Angie was awesome! Fascinating to see how she ended up getting that gig and is so trusted in caring for Elvis' things! I should have sent in a question about the Beatles and his time with them if there was any moments or photos of them all together. Thanks Jordan for an amazing vlog and for the level of integrity and respect you give to all of the stories you tell.
I saw a video where she was decorating Graceland for the Holiday's,and she pulled out some of those old timey Christmas tree icicles from (I believe 1959) I just remember how crumbled they looked, and she said that they always re-use things like that during Christmas..She also had some of Lisa Marie's first Christmas gifts, and a few other decorations.. She also talked about changing the drapes to red because Elvis had that done every Christmas..I am sure it is still on TH-cam if anyone wants to check it out..
OMG that was an amazing interview!I have never seen Angie so relaxed or answer questions so informally.Plus Jordan asked simply great questions! Usually Angie is very formal pointing at some item and talking about it. it was such a pleasure hearing her in an actual conversation about Elvis and his items . Love love loved it!!!!
Thank You! This video was awesome! I love Angie’s stories about Elvis’s archives she is so knowledgeable ! She is always so pleasant to speak to as my husband and I had the pleasure to meet Angie in person for Elvis’s 2021 birthday celebration . What a great!! And please to say! we both share the same name. Thank You!!
Brilliant video again Jordan. Watched it at the time you put it out at 1pm hear in the UK. Would be cool even just to meet Angie and ask her so many Elvis related questions because she sure knows her stuff. Thanks for putting this really interesting video out.👍😎

Thank you so much for this video Jordan ! I’ve seen her video’s bring certain people on tour’s of Graceland , she’s the best ! I can’t get enough of hearing about Elvis . I saw him at a concert one year before he died . I’ve been a fan for 57 years . I have albums galore, he’s 45 record of Hound Dog, all the news papers of when he died . I sent away for them to Memphis. This video was what I needed . Thank you !

That was awesome Jordan. I started watching Gates of Graceland when they first came out on TH-cam, and enjoyed everyone. How did you ever get access to do this video? Outstanding job my friend. You did a respectful job with the interview.
I just happened to run into Angie while I was there. Introduced myself, and asked if I could interview her when I came back through memphis in a week. She put me in contact with her agent, and I submitted the Noel Blanc interview videos and some sample questions, and they gladly approved me.. they couldn't have been nicer about it all. I bumped the video way up in the series so you all wouldn't have to wait another month to see it
Jordan, what a priceless vlog. Excellent. I love how you ask relevant and thoughtful questions, then let the person answer and tell their story. Curiosity is a trait, you have it you don't. You have it! Authentic always. Why I keep watching!

I've seen her on several videos. She is fantastic.
Do you have a link for me please...
@@elricobarlow3732 I will try to find the link for you just give me a couple of hours..
Angie is fantastic, and thanks for this interview!
When my father in law was in high in Memphis he would play football after school with Elvis and their friends
Thank You!

This is one of the most enjoyable interviews that I have seen you do! Thank you so much for everything that you do! You are one gifted person!
That was awesome Jordan. I started watching Gates of Graceland when they first came out on TH-cam, and enjoyed everyone. How did you ever get access to do this video? Outstanding job my friend. You did a respectful job with the interview.
Hi Jeff, isn't Jordan just the BEST
I just happened to run into Angie while I was there. Introduced myself, and asked if I could interview her when I came back through memphis in a week. She put me in contact with her agent, and I submitted the Noel Blanc interview videos and some sample questions, and they gladly approved me.. they couldn't have been nicer about it all. I bumped the video way up in the series so you all wouldn't have to wait another month to see it
You do a really awesome job Jordan

Jordan, what a priceless vlog. Excellent. I love how you ask relevant and thoughtful questions, then let the person answer and tell their story. Curiosity is a trait, you have it you don't. You have it! Authentic always. Why I keep watching!

Thank you Jordan. With all that’s going on in the world, you keep on bringing forth such wonderful and insightful videos. Please keep up the good work. Living in Canada; it will probably be sometime before we could experience this first hand. In a way, you’re keeping our dreams alive!
Hi Jordan - been watching your videos while in quarantine and wanted to say how much your positive attitude has inspired me. I struggle with my mental health and your videos have really helped me when I'm having a bad time. Glad to see you having new adventures again ! Love from Liverpool x
