Eugene’s voice is so deep and his conversations are so interesting. I loved his take on Disney. I’m so glad he’s back.

Part of me is sad that the Try Guys has not been complete in the TryPod, but another part of me is happy that they're alternating who's resting -- a rest they totally deserve after their busy tour. (Also, Keith's in a TV show too.) :)

Listen, I have been super busy lately, and normally I'm kind of a home body who just works and goes home...or I used to be.
I can safely say that on their level of hard work, a break is both rare and well deserved. I'm not telling you anything you don't already know, but to feel that calm, tranquility while you have nothing serious to do for a second is wonderful.
I am feeling it. Anyone else feel my vibes?
This was a good podcast! It was actually nice hearing more of Eugene! They definetly read our comments and started being more carefull letting everyone talk. Good job everyone!!
Eugene going off on remakes and shitty CG Disney movies is something I didn't know I needed but am very happy to now have. Because yes, yes, yes, and all of the yes. He makes excellent points that I completely agree with, hence why I haven't seen a Disney film outside of the MCU in years.
Also, SAME as Ned in not rewatching movies! Same reasons too, I can only rewatch certain movies if I just absolutely love it, otherwise once is enough for me.
Also, THREE WEEKS it took to film Eugene's coming out video, did people just think the other guys would do NOTHING for THREE WEEKS when they're trying to keep a 2 videos a week schedule FOR THE FANS???? Listen, I get it, people love Eugene, but I actually hate how they have to repeat themselves on this topic. They have been completely open and honest since the beginning that their videos are filmed in advance, as most TH-camr's do, and they shouldn't have to stop to address it every time when someone is gone. Like this episode, Keith's gone for Bring the Funny, obviously given it's literally airing right now. They shouldn't have to remind people they have other projects we won't see for a time! And they can't just put everything on hold because one person is working on something else, otherwise fans would be bitching about that. Point being, certain people need to chill out more about when someone's gone and trust that they're making stuff FOR US to enjoy later, no one is leaving, everyone's busting their ass to make stuff for their fans and even if not each of them DO deserve breaks once in a while too.

100% with Eugene. Lion King looked like numbers, not art. The original was art. This cash grab at my childhood makes me feel icky. Billy Eichner and Seth Rogen were the best parts by far.
Methinks a studio should get Eugene to direct a movie. Saw their video where they watched their pre-Try Guys videos and I genuinely wanted to see the two videos Eugene showed there.
They need to go back to casting Broadway actors that can emote, not just going for the big names.

Missed Keith but loved how much more evenly distributed this podcast seemed to be with the guys talking together instead of one person talking over the others.
whysp80 I noticed that so much the last few they didn’t talk as a group it was one yelling over the others and interrupting each other.
I think all our comments in the last few episodes (esp. previous ones with eugene) have been noted and it's great

Knowing these facts, and understanding Eugene's love for animals (rodents included) it's easy to believe he even sought wisdom from a giant rat.

Totally agree!! The first 10ish episodes were so hard to listen to because of Zach but I can see that he is really trying to let people finish before he speaks now and I'm glad for it.
Any time Eugene speaks, I listen very intently because he always shares words of wisdom. That being said, this season of movie remakes makes me anxious. This rehashing is not necessary

Ian Talker I get what you mean, but they did acknowledge that they didn’t mean to drag a product/company down and were sorry for doing so.
I think they were just trying to bring up the situation + admit that they were wrong and correct themselves, all while keeping the podcast fun and entertaining
Ian Talker except the “corrections” where also bullshit. OO does go racid, as do a variety of oils. If they listen to 100% of what Zach said they would of heard what he was actually saying. OO can also become carcinogenic when it gets too hot (up around the smoking point).

Nich Citarella exactly what they said is actually true. The email guy actually didn’t understand the context of what he said. Olive oil can turn rancid and be dangerous if it gets above the smoke point. That’s literally what Zach was saying.

THANK YOU EUGENE!! I’ve been saying that all these movies were better animated!! The colors and what can only be done in cartoon and not in real life. AND I keep saying that I think Mulan will be the only one I see because it’s more based in reality than all the others anyways, so I see this life action being good.

You know... I like that the olive oil part happened, because misinformation spreads so quickly, especially when people speak without thinking/educating themselves and share it on a platform where they have a large listening/viewing base. And it can have an impact.
I didn't because the man that complained obviously has an agenda. More and more people stop using olive oil in the pan and susbstitute it with other oils that have a higher smoking point. The Try Guys didn't specify that there's a difference between cold and warm pressed oils and I think they should have done that instead. Many people still use cold pressed olive oil (that should be used for salads) in the pan. Just use a warm pressed oil and you're good to go. I personally also wouldn't go for Zach's choice because avocados need a lot of ressources to grow. Here in my country the best choice is locally produced canola oil or sunflower oil.
I love how they always address when Eugeni and Ned are gone but no one says anything about Keith being gone

The baby part of me wanna cry about how I already miss Keith but I must say I did really enjoyed the podcast. I know Keith has a new project, I wish him the very best! I hope Eugene had fun during his break, and it's always a pleasure listening to his opinion so I'm happy about having him back. Zach's enthusiasm is contagious, it makes me smile. Fun Fact: tardigrades (water bears) can survive the vacuum of space and in other extreme conditions, however they are only simply surviving. they are not actually living per sé, they simply go into a hibernation like state in which they conserve their energy to wait out the harsh conditions. I highly suggest looking up Journey to the Microcosmos on TH-cam (Hank Green narrates the videos, he's awesome) where they talk about microscopic creatures. they have a whole episode on tardigrades, it's absolutely fascinating

I totally agree with Eugene. As someone who someday wants to be apart of the film/entertainment industry I want something new and meaningful. Half the time I get bored watching movies. I want to watch a film that will capture my attention and make me think all the way through. I have not seen the new Lion King movie yet, but when celebrities are casted in animated movies or TV shows that are not used to acting with just their voice the characters are not as believable. I'm very curious to see the new Lion King to see if what Eugene said is true.
What people mean when they said olive oil goes rancid is that we keep olive oil so long in our cupboards and use it little bits at a time not realizing that it can go bad.

what Eugene was saying about remakes resonated so strongly. Just because animation and CGI has advanced SO MUCH (which is amazing!!!) doesn't mean these old movies need to be redone. They still have so much power in their original medium. I hope large scale film companies start devoting time and creative energy into original content again

So I’m hanging out in Italy right now listening to you guys and I thought I’d share that in the region I’m in right now, le Marche, there’s these amazingly prepared olives called Olive Ascolane: they are green olives that are stuff with meat, then breaded and fried and they are AMAZING. So I know I’m late to the game, but I’m currently watching the Trypod on TH-cam in order while I’m in quarantine working on my Costume Design work. You guys are the perfect thing to keep me motivated, give me some good laughs, and just an overall awesome platform to help me get into the work zone. Love you guys 💕

The joy on Eugene's face when Miles started Miles Nation gives me joy.
I’m a storyboard artist in the industry and Eugene perfectly summarized how me and a bunch of my industry friends feel. Sure, it’s good if it can employ people and make the studio money. But it’s depressing as a viewer to see originality and new content be sidelined as a “bad investment” and it’s doubly saddening as an artist. Especially from studios that are known for being the most innovative in storytelling.
There are some places doing some really cool stuff though - I really hope those begin to turn the tide. Spider-verse was a great example. And The Willoughbys in particular looks really cool and unique and I’m so excited to see how it turns out.
This entire episode was just them making fun the guy writing an email for a correction and I loved every moment of it. 😂 Glad Eugene’s back and that well see more of the four of them together!

I wish they would just stop remaking everything and make everything original.. Half the stuff we watched growing up was original..and now it's all remade. We need new material for a new generation, I agree with Eugene 😉 it has gotten stale with Disney redoing everything.
