@@Rubyfairytale yeah we are the most diverse population on Earth, you can find "Black" Arabs in Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt and overall everywhere, my great grand-father has dark skin yet is Arab, same goes for some of my cousins, and for some reasons I have other cousins that have a very light skin, blond hair and blue eyes, we're just so diverse😭
I'm Musilim and I'm American but I grew up in a Arab environment in Saudi Arabia and it was like that the fun cartoons and Islamic cartoons and learning about Allah all the fun times during my childhood.
I’m so happy you find it interesting, but being Arab doesn’t mean your Muslim, and there many Christian’s Arabs who had the same childhood 🤍🤍, but it ok ml 🫶🏻🫶🏻
As an algerian, I lived the same childhood as you. I remember watching Spacetoon just for the planets songs. كوكب كوميديا and كوكب مغامرات were my favorites but I was terrified by the Fulla ads. But the snacks that I used to buy were different. I used to buy brands like Daily, Selecto, Ramy, etc...
I used to be so scared of those dolls too. Anytime one of the kids left a doll at our place, I used to shove them under the couch so that they didn't look at me.
As a Lebanese teenager, hearing another person having a similar childhood is pretty interesting knowing that I don't know many Arab friends other than the ones in my school. Keep it up, your journey looks promising 🙏
I didn’t grow up in Iraq and only recently had I been able to actually visit. A lot of the times I see arab kids who grew up back home have the same childhood as you mentioned it makes me nostalgic for something I didn’t really get to experience :,)
