I grew up with a stutter. I’ve learned to accept it and not let it stop me from achieving my goals. I teach, present, and do even perform music and poetry. Moses, one of the greatest men to live, had a speech impediment.
Ok this is crazy. I’ve had a stutter my whole life and now being 23 it has become 1,000 times better and I have gotten over the fear of stuttering ..mostly. What he explained about not being able to say your name is spot on. The biggest thing I struggle with is Introducing myself. I’ve come to the conclusion that I need to say “first name is ….” And this helps. It allows me time to get everything ready to say my name. If anyone else has trouble saying their name try to add something in front of it like I did so it gives you time to

Never let anyone make you feel like you can't do what you feel called to do. I have a stutter too, I do gaming content where I tell jokes and be a goob because that's my calling
What has helped me tons is reading the book How To Run Your Own Life by Jut Meininger (as long as I apply it I eliminate it completely) (when you read it you'll realize that you have to turn off your Adapted Child state and little by little train your Parent state so your Adapted child doesn't intervene)... you can download it (they don't print it anymore)
You don’t have to accept it! You can change it like I did by reading Lee Lovetts’ “How to Stop Stuttering & Love Speaking”. Lee’s book & program changed my life and countless others and can very well so do the same for you.
@@vucious Yes I accepted it, but wanted to change it. Never made any sense why alone, I would speak fluently, but in front of others, I would block. You're very inspiring. However, as you know there are people who stutter a lot more than you and that can be very challenging when you'd get a promotion, do a public speech and so on.. In that case would you still just accept it or trying to mitigate it?
There is a comedian that had/has a very bad stutter due to a baseball accident. He worked on it for a long time and it's gotten WAY better. I'm pretty sure this guy even won America's Got Talent. Either way he proved that even with an injury caused stutter. He was able to reverse it in a way. There is many stuttering types out there. I noticed it last year and now I'm reversing it as of this month mainly. It's already improved a lot. Again I wasn't born with it... I actually developed it on accident by myself and now I can go back to reverse it. It's not bad at all. I can talk fine. just at times for sure it can get annoying

Hey man, i do have a STUTTER, it's just you have you have to analyse what's exactly causing your stutter and work on those aspects such as, being more loud or being more expressive, what worked even better was using a kind of musical accent, if you've noticed few people who talk very expressively moving all of their facial muscles and using they're arms for gestures, etc. Anyway, if you read this reply, feel free to reply back, it'd be nice to speak to a person of the same "Genre" is what I put it as, it would actually be helpful,.
