Increased investments and technological advancements have led to the expansion of railway tracks, electrification, and high-speed corridors like the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train. The introduction of Vande Bharat and Amrit Bharat trains, represents a significant enhancement in the overall travel experience for passengers. With the much-demanded Vande Sleeper, is under construction with a target to complete it by March. 1300 railway stations are redeveloping that incorporate innovative designs reflecting local culture.
Moreover, Bharat''s strides in digital infrastructure are evident through the successful rollout of 5G technology and the development of indigenous telecom technology, showcasing the nation's commitment to staying at the forefront of technological advancements. The construction of semiconductor manufacturing plant in Gujarat is set to produce the first Made in India chips by December 2024.

As a person of Indian origin born in Kenya, lived in UK and now in Australia, i am in awe (and extremely proud) as i watch the transformation of Bharat happening at a pace In all areas!!!!.....As Indians in the past we were derided and made to feel lesser and inferior mortals.....but no longer!!! The world is witnessing the transformation of Bharat!!!....thanks to PM Modi and his government including ministers like Ashwini Vaishnaw, that Bharat is in the front seat of transformation in the world.... and will become the greatest country on this earth in the years to come!!

ट्रैन में सीटों की समस्या आज भी है सर, बिहार, उत्तरप्रदेश, बंगाल, राजस्थान, ओडिशा जैसे कई राज्यों के लोग जो देश के अलग अलग क्षेत्र में नौकरी के लिए जाते है, आज भी उनको general डिब्बो के बाथरूम में और गेट पे मजबूरन बैठ कर जाना पड़ता है। आये दिन ट्रैन से नीचे गिरते भी है। कृपया इनके लिए कुछ किया जाना चाहिए, तभी bullet train और high speed सार्थक है।
Jab new trains banegi aur rail network modify hoga toh zyada trains chalegi. Uske baad crowd kam hoga aur dheere dheere transform hoga system. Ye koi 1-2 saal ki project nahi hai. Kam se kam 5 years se start hoga improvement

What a contribution? , This is daylight theft of money they are providing a minute budget to Maharashtra . Talking of bullet train but it takes 3 Hours to travel from Mumbai to Pune and Mumbai to Nashik they want only to provide connectivity to Gujarat.😢

Just a suggestion.
Was seeing some TH-cam channels where many of our trains run late due to Heavy Fog.
It is very risky for our Loco Pilots and must be very taxing for them to navigate trains during those foggy conditions.
Can we possibly add some radium on the tracks (from inside) so that the tracks can be visible a bit?
Or can there be Holograms transmitted on the tracks say every Electricity Pole that carries massive currents?
Like those holograms can enlighten some portion of the track if not the entire one?
Just to help our tirelessly working locopilots.
Any tech that be installed in the Engine itself which can guide the locopilots of the track ahead? Like we have radar in Airplane?
Not sure if this suggestion is even feasible. But as an Indian it’s my responsibility to help my own Govt to make things better for us and our Locopilots.

sir, as a regular passanger I see that most of the local trains and many express and superfast trains in West Bengal are being extremely delayed on a regular basis.... the toilets in them are very dirty.... often there are no water in the toilets.... you are doing good in improving infrastructure and starting new train projects like vande Bharat and Amrit Bharat express but improve the previous trains and their facilities too.... their situation is much much worse than before

Sir, I wish to draw your attention on the southern side of Mumbai. Konkan Railway has not been able to tap the full potential it deserves. I request your good offices to either do the doubling of the tracks from veer to Mangalore or merge the Konkan Railway Corporation with the Indian Railways so as to enable funding for the doubling of the track in the above said region.
We have Vizhinjam Port coming up in the state of Kerala which is slated to be the 1st Mother Port in india. Cochin Port, Vallarpadam sea Port, Mangalore sea Port, Murmagoa Port, Wadhwan Port in Maharashtra under construction and the expansion of the JNPT Port also will put more pressure on the two way speedy movement of the south bound containers on the single track on the existing Konkan Railway. Vizhinjam ports first phase will become operational by the middle of 2024.
When huge investments are made on the hilly areas of the NE and Northern states, I feel the Konkan Railways and the people of the regionhave been given a step motherly treatment. When Mr. Prabhu was the Railway Minister, we were promised of the doubling of the tracks between Mangalore and veer.
Sir, I hope you will take this project with an overwhelming priority to make up for the last time and cost escalation. Thank you.

Even the extention of WDFC to the Vizhinjam port in Kerala will be an interim relief on the Single Konkan Railway track. The present ruling LDF government in Kerala only want to fill their pockets. Their demand will be only for the funds for the projects of their choice. They Will neva look for the long term projects like doubling of the Konkan Railway track.

Sir, my warehouse is located in Bangalore Channasandra having railway siding.
The railway land cannecting my warehouse to main road is uneven and muddy, heavy vehicles carrying steel FG 55MT have chances of toppling.
SW railways done survey several times,but no any changes seen so far.

My suggestion to railway department add solar power units in each stations with rain water harvest systems to renewable source are to be used.

As a technocrat and fellow alum of iitk , yourself it pains to see in 2024 train running driverless , speeding down on gradient, jumping signals etc...I am sure with very basic and low cost dead man switch or wi fi gps enabled actuators it shud be fairly easy to remotely stop a run away train..

Please construct foot over bridges at small stations and junctions. Passengers are still forced to jump over platforms to come out of stations.
