Kobe Bryant was a great basketball player. I'm sorry he was killed in 2020 in a helicopter crash with his daughter Gianna and 5 others. Prayers go out to his family.
I'm not a fan of Bryant, but even HE didn't deserve to die in a helicopter 🚁 crash. He'd've better off waiting until the weather cleared, or found another mode of transportation.
Should have waited out the weather, rolled the dice and lost.
It was a Saturday afternoon. Around 4:30pm, I noticed it was unusually dark outside my West Hollywood apartment. I opened the front door and looked downstairs to the street and noticed the fog. It was the thickest I had ever seen in Los Angeles. You couldn't see down to the next block. It was like pea soup. A few hours later, I heard about the crash. There is no way that helicopter should have been cleared for takeoff.
@@brirocks The pilot was cocky, and thought he could fly, with a good costumer. He took the chance. I wasn't there, but I remember fog warning where I couldn't see 40 feet infront of me, I had a car honking on the horn behind me, then they went speeding past me, one time, a few miles down the road, that car was upside down on the road.
RIP angels

Dennis Johnson (DJ) earned his Finals MVP honors in 1979 while playing with the Seattle Supersonics (now the Oklahoma Thunder). They beat the Washington Bullets that year.
