Well done that man! And welcome to GEC. I got my first a year ago and the single-bladed version of this #23 Beaver Tail is my 11th! I received it today (they take a little longer to arrive in the UK) and I'm mightily pleased with it. Here is a brief history of knifemaking: 1. Once upon a time, pocket knives were manufactured in Sheffield, England. 2. 200 years ago, the best knife makers in Sheffield started to leave for America. 3. At GEC today, their descendants make the world's finest production pocket knives. The End
Congratulations! Welcome to the traditional pocket knife community. It’s a beautiful addiction! You Picked one hell of A pattern to be your first GEC. Good job on the video and I look forward to more. Have a great day.
Haha thanks so much man! Addiction indeed - my 3rd #23 should be arriving this week! The #23 might be my favourite knife of 2020. Thanks for checking out the video and for the comment. Take care buddy 👍🤙
I just noticed this #23 knife has the early tighter Beaver gnawed jigging. Mine has a little more flat spaced jigging. It is just a slight difference. These knives are so stunning in you hand. I bought this one and two beaver gnawed GEC#23LL liner lock single blade knives. Never for sale or trade ! I think I ended up with ten and I am waiting for my two others that have not been made yet. GEC ran out of Bovine Cattle bone during the shut down.
GECs can be tricky to acquire if you are looking for a specific model. I got this one from BladeHQ. But it’s likely unavailable now. Keep your eyes open for specific models you like but you might have to be patient. Also, sometimes when I buy knives I buy extra..I don’t have this specific knife available for sale but I do have 2 brand new GECs available. Models that I bought double. Maybe I can send you a private message?? Hmm how do I do that lol..
Great looking knife! I don't own any GEC knives, but I hope to in the future. Cool observation on the pattern in the wood resembling teeth marks. Thanks for showing it, take care!
I'm a huge fan of the GEC KNIVES... love the singlet blade models... I have 4 now... All singles blades, 👍🙏🇺🇸sharp knives matter 🔪🙏🇺🇸💯
I just picked up the liner lock version. Can't wait to use it.
Seriously?! Wow, congrats. You are going to love it! Thanks for watching 👍🤙
