@@PhillipRowland-r8v references: 1st scene of “Dumb and Dumber.” It’s a subtle joke. I didn’t get it until I watched the movie the third time. Laughed my tail off once I got it.
@ we use miles on all the sign posts. Most use stone and pounds for weight. Litres for petrol, that probably hides the fact how much we pay per gallon lol 😂. But in the sporting world, running and cycling clubs, take your pick lol.
@ and “Audax” has to be said with a voice inflection at the end of the “x” and the “Au” has to sound like you’re meeting a puppy for the first time… I’ve been studying the language. Cool words. In California, we just call it “riding far” …. we’ve got to come up with some cooler terms.
Ha ha... Sir Adam Story... Dan is just full of it. BTW.. Kilometers, I keep mine on miles and F as I know what that is in Ecuador. Nice aluminum bike, with side pulls too. Wow.
Hey Adam, you are still riding the same way when you used to ride in Moorpark. 🤣You should post the Strava or RWGPS for some of your local routes. I sent a link to this video to my riding mate from the UK, his name is Nigel!
This was hilarious Adam. As the UK is made up of 4 countries, maybe you should do a vid for Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland too. As a Brit who used to live in California I can relate to this - brilliant, so funny.
The miles vs kilometres thing is a weird one in the UK compared to the rest of western europe. Most people under 40 will use km's, but I also met plenty of people while at uni who still used miles (I guess because their parents did). It's also the only country in that area I can think of that still uses miles for all road signs
Love a good nap especially after a ride.
I hear you!
Good to see Daniel back on two wheels!
He's feeling better.
Excellent video! Hilarious 😂 thank you so much for sharing!
You two should do more videos together, you both are funny! Mate!
Thanks for the compliment, we'll try to get out together more often!
Great video. Hilarious.
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Not only did I laugh, but watching the snow here in NY, pining for a Ride on that route!
G’day mate Is Australian,I think you said Austrian, but we’re a pretty forgiving lot.Enjoy your videos, good fun and always good opinions

@@Wimpawipa cool. Weird though, I wonder why all these TH-cam videos I’m watching use kilometers…

@ just dawned on me, the long distance cyclists might do kilometres due to Randoneering. Or as we say in the UK, Audax 🤦😂

This was spot on hilarious!
Add Tyler Pearce aka, the Vegan Cyclist, to the list of TH-cam cyclists. He's pretty entertaining.
@@tomfitzgerald890 he’s awesome too
Another well traveled American. Perhaps purchase homes/apartments in the UK or EU for passive income.
Recolonization - there's hope for the world yet :)
