Trucks have always had 3 people in it, driver, navigator and mechanic.
I've been waiting for a long time for a decent dakar game and this game looks pretty damn good

@@headhunter531 still, compared to previous dakar style racing games, it's miles better, I got it last night and the navigating is quite a challenge, had to adjust my controller steering sensitivity to stop myself from spinning out
One day I will be mature enough to see the abbreviation of “arrive special stage” without laughing. Today is not that day.

@@MaximusBlaze710 from what I heard, it actually isn’t the cars that drive well, but all the vehicles that aren’t the cars (this was the case for Dakar 18 as well for some reason). Idk why tho
the reason I'm excited for the game is that it's really fun and since it's Dakar it's bound to be fun

So damn cool seeing the company I work fors Logo in a videogame. Bardahl. They were also plastered all over Ford vs Ferrari do to being hugely popular in US motorsports back in the day. They have since backed off and mainly only focus on over seas motorsports now.
This game is great! Will be even better when they fix FFB on wheels.
I never played a Dakar Rally game before (I can't really imagine the excitement in driving straight through a plain desert), but this is looking pretty fun with very varying environments. Camera is drunk though, hate it. Handling looks great though, like the car has more weight in different places and throws it around.

Handling is really bad impossible to do a decent skid i was expecting something similar to Dirt games, AI is stupid also can't customize difficulty

The game itself it’s amazing! Although I think it might needed a couple more months to be finished, it has a few issues. Nevertheless, I’m having a blast!
Once you move on to professional or simulation mode with proper roadbook navigation the game becomes very engaging.
How are the physics? Is it arcade or more GT7 Sim-Cade
@@roknroller6052 pretty arcadey. you can't disable driving assists and we are still waiting for a patch, mainly for quad physics

Rally indeed still is the HARDEST ever in the motorsport history.
Big fan of Rallying (WRC mostly) and always wanted to jump into these games. Theres always one on sale for like, single figures on the Playstation Store. I'ma hold out for a price drop and see wagwan.

It's a fairly enjoyable rally racer - I'm playing the XBSX version. Game needs a few performance patches in the next few weeks and months, IMO. It's lacking a Photo Mode, Replay Mode, and Livery Editor. More content is promised, including a bigger map of Saudi Arabia (which presumably might mean more events), cars, etc. There is a Season Pass available at launch. Hopefully the developer will stick around to polish DDR up to its fullest potential, but this is still a good start (particularly when thinking about the game's predecessor, Dakar 18). If you enjoyed DiRT 5, you'll probably enjoy this, but start off in Sport Mode, and remember the surest route to victory is not always speed. This one requires a bit more nuance.

For some reason, I think that the devs have deliberately made it so that car will never topple upside down or rollover on it's either sides. The damage model is arcadish. What I mean is you are bumping a tree at 150 kph & your car is not totalled. It could have been better - a reset in such cases could have been introduced as a penalty which will cost you time & maybe a position.
Sport mode is easy mode

I have been playing it for few days and the Sports Mode is exactly like MotorStorm. I am really happy with the game. The FPS needs improvement at the moment on consoles.
