I know this is from 3yrs ago but my son is starting kindergarten this year & this has been the most helpful - no nonsense video I’ve found for best back pack & lunch box for him. I got the small PB back back, they didn’t have the same lunch box anymore, but I got another one. Thank you!
May I ask why you did not prefer the Planetbox one? I remember you mentioned loving it in another video. I have a Kindergartner next year and wanted to know if it would be difficult or too heavy for him. Also, with the Planetbox, I heard it’s very difficult to find lunch bags that will fit them, besides the one they sell. What’s your experience with this? Thank you in advance for your thoughts. Did she use the same backpack for 1st grade? My daughter will be going to kinder and i feel that the small backpack is perfect for her. However, in another review i saw they said that they had to purchase a large size for 1st grade. So im uncertain om which one i should go with.
Hi! Yes, she used the small PBK backpack for Kindergarten, first, and second grade! I find it is large enough, but it definitely depends on what your child needs to bring to school every day. My daughter really only needed her homework folder and on gym days she would also bring her sneakers. Lunch went into her lunch bag which she would carry separately. I hope that helps!
