I'm a recent widow I lost my beloved husband he was only 62 yrs old .I found this show on TH-cam after my sister got it running on my TV . It brought a smile and chuckle and tears. The answer is definitely yes to watching a road trip in a camper van! I think there are hundreds of thousands that would enjoy learning all the tips and tricks of camping in a camper van that do not do tent camping. Many of us love watching you and Bruno tent camping, but because of age or disability, cannot experience that for ourselves. Whether we actually ever get a camper van, we will camp along vicariously with Tony and Bruno, or Tony and Ann. I believe so much of what we enjoy about your videos is mainly you. You make us feel like we’re traveling along with you and you’re such a good traveling mate that we can’t wait for the next adventure. Thanks,

Tony, we always know that you do the best things for Bruno (including putting him on a leash if there's too much ground around that would interest him - and this camp was in a really huge gorgeous area).
Bruno is the sweetest little snugglebug - we love it every time he's on camera. 🙂
Bruno is so dear to Tony and his wife, Ann and if it means putting him on a leash, so be it, because that story of the camper who lost his beloved dog in the woods was heartbreaking.
Tony knows his dog.... He's doing things that most of the people bashing things he does will never do... He has commonsence and good reasons for all he does...

Many you tubers cant pull off long vids like these, but your camera work, content and editing keeps our attention, i enjoy these long vids, when you watch a channel you really enjoy, the 45 to 60 minute vids go by too fast

Yeah, camper van is something I'd watch
One of the greater regrets was not staying home the day my cat passed. The office even told me to stay home, but he seemed comfortable and I'd been home two days already. Not the greeting I expected when I came home. To this day I feel guilty that he passed while alone.
I’m so sorry, it happened to me, too. It’s very hard.. so God bless you. The guilt is what gets to you. I had to look at this way, he crossed over the rainbow bridge and he is happy with all the others who crossed over before him. I know he’s happy and I’m sure so is yours.🙋🏻♀️💕🙏
I had the same experience. I had put him out in the yard. Came back and he died trying to climb over the backyard gate. He was 18 years old. I feel terrible that he passed alone.

11 minutes in, and already hit the like button at 1 minute... wasnt planning on camping for 3 hours, but being in a wheelchair for 3 years at 46, you realize sometimes, "well, camping here!, lol😂"
Got a football field sized yard, difficult to get around in, so Tony and Bruno open up the world just a bit more.

You certainly don’t need to apologise to anyone for the gear you use, your money, your choice. For the few that complain, there are thousands that don’t.

We got all these channels with guys camping in a muddy hole with some twigs for cover but Tony and Bruno still manages to bring us the most unique and interesting camping content out there. You truly bridge the gap between camping and glamping and I love every second of it.

Hey, Tony!🙋🏾♀️Omg! Where do I start! The entire camping site was absolutely beautiful! And of all the clearings you shared with us I think you chose the best in which to set up. The valley with its mountains, stream, and river was gorgeous! And the aquamarine colored river was simply beautiful! I always love the drone footage. It's wonderful to see the everything from that perspective. Just beautiful! The Manuka Grove was a little bit scary looking 😂😂. There were several clearings that looked nice as well. But I believe you chose the one with the absolutely best views. I love it! We must camp there again ...great site! I was totally surprised by the bed! Awesome!! I think the camper van idea is great. It would be another way of camping to add to your camping "storehouse". I'm all for it. Please allow me to say that you don't have to feel embarrassed about having to use the step ladder. Even someone as tall as you are, Tony, will sometimes have to reach something that's taller than they are. It's ok. No reason to feel embarrassed. Forgive me if I'm speaking out of turn. But you want to hear something really embarrassing...I'm 5'4"...now that's embarrassing!🤣🤣🤣 And oh, by the way, you're not the only one who struggles with foil😂. These camping videos are my therapy, when I'm feeling a little down ,I watch Tony and Bruce, and it brightens my day, he likes to test his equipment in stormy weather and that makes it even better,who wants to see sunshine in every video, plus it puts his gear to the test, there is a more cozy feeling about having gear that can keep you dry in the worst conditions, thank you Tony for the awesome camp videos👍
Our family used to have a pop-top Toyota Hiace camper van, fully kitted out. Was an earlier model one so not too big but the pop top was amazing.
If you could get a 4x4 version of something like that, that would be ideal for you I reckon!

Always Bruce wishes to you. I had border collies for 20 years as a kid. Three golden retrievers now. Only point being, Bruce is loved and never forgotten. Glad to see Bruno growing into a man. My 97 lbs puppy is on the same trajectory. And just as good hearted. Godspeed.

Hello from North Carolina, USA. I love solo tent camping, but haven’t found any place as beautiful as your camp sites in New Zealand. Your an excellent fur daddy so don’t listen to any comments telling you how to raise Bruno. I grieved when Bruce passed. My 18-year old Morelli died last year and I still can’t talk about it. Totally get it. Spreading Bruce’s ashes was a beautiful show.
I enjoy your cigar time chats. It’s like listening to an old friend. I love your passion for life. Don’t change.

The motorhome is a good idea especially if you're bringing Ann along. Yes it would be wonderful to watch any of those videos as well because you make them interesting.
I know a lot of people don't finish till the end because it's longer than 30 minutes but I find it joyful to spend the time watching it all the way through. I personally Love the set ups and break downs of camping because my mind can wonder and dream of what the next one will be.

Campervan videos sound like a wonderful idea. I’ve been watching for around 2 months, ever since you upgraded the truck and I just gotta say that your videos are some of the most enjoyable experiences I’ve watched on youtube in a very long time. You and Bruno are an amazing duo and whatever happens, keep on camping.
Tony, you have provided so many chuckles in this camp (minus the fire scene) as well as another great cigar chat. Love this new camp site. You truly find the most beautiful areas to share with us. Knowing you like comfort, I couldn’t wait to see where you were putting your bed. I thought under the truck with Bruno?😂. I do think being in a little camper van (?) would be a great idea for some future adventures when you are in need of a bit less heavy work and more comfort for those bad ankle/back days! But I do love any type of camping/traveling around NZ with you and Bruno. And Bruno settling on your legs in the morning was so cute. He sure looked comfy there! You are such a good Dad. Hello, Tony. First, I want to say I love watching your channel. I am 57 and used to love camping with my husband and kids. Unfortunately, my husband passed away 5 years ago due to esophageal cancer at the young age of 55. He was my soulmate, best friend, and great step-father to my kids. His loss is still felt by us all. Your cigar time during this video was spot on. Esophageal cancer has been linked to alcoholism, which my husband had been in recovery for 8 years when it developed. He hadn’t had a single drink or drug in that whole time. When I first heard what happened to Matthew Perry, I immediately thought of my husband. Both were in recovery, both died young, both did what they could to spread their strength, hope, recovery to others, and both utilized their 12 step programs. Unfortunately, years of abuse left their bodies abused. When I heard you speak of this significant loss, I wanted to give you a hug, but can only express my appreciation for stating that you, as I, don’t believe he was using again. Thank you!!
Now 2nd, to answer your question, there are a lot of van lifers out there filming their lives on the road in their campers, conversion vans, etc. However, with that said, I think you should do what you want. I will watch regardless. Also, if your ankle is in need of surgery or recuperation, then the camper van is probably the best way for you to keep your channel going, while showing everyone new areas of New Zealand. I know your wife doesn’t want to be on camera, neither do my kids, so I understand if she doesn’t want to be in the videos. My kids are the same way.

Yes, to a campervan! The format of your videos is why I watch. It doesn't matter what you're cooking or sleeping in. You will still bring good conversation, beautiful views, and I'm sure typical Tony mishaps. It would also be fun to see the gear you got in the van.

Yes Tony, I'd find your camping trips interesting regardless whether you used regular camping equipment or an RV. An RV would make your trips in bad weather more comfortable, and give you more time to enjoy the beautiful scenery without as much time setting up and taking down. Go fo it. 😊

Epic car camping location. I think this place and the site next to the ocean are my favorite so far. Look forward to seeing more new locations from time to time.
