Welcome back to Assassin's Creed Valhalla. In this video we are taking a look at how to win the dice game known as Orlog. This strategy is very easy and involves no thinking! I haven't lost from my strategy yet! The game is a little bit confusing at first but once you get to know the game it's not tough at all. I swear the ai hardly pick dice and they get all the god favour points great strat
This is exactly what I've been doing every game lol. Some of the opponents God Favors are annoying and can really screw you over though....not a guaranteed win but definitely a good strat to use!
same...the healing powers in particular are obnoxious. fuck that bs.....
This is a good strategy. However, I've found the A.I. often cheats by stealing more power tokens from you than it has stealing hands to take. I've also found the A.I. will sometimes use a higher level favor (say, level 3 of Thor's Strike) without having enough power tokens to use a favor that high (such as having only 4 power tokens when it needs 12). The A.I. will also often pull off a miraculous roll by rolling exactly what it needs to counter your attacks. Ubisoft probably made changes to the game's coding in order to render the strategy in this video less effective.
Can i use the thor thingy attachment without losing it !?
I believe so as well, I've tried this strategy but somehow it always has enough hands to steal my token; did ubisoft patch this strategy ethier way I'm struggling to roll and I don't think it is pure right that the ai outrolls whatever you have I think it is rigged. they have done something to the coding I think.

the hands are a great strategy. I lost more then a few times as the AI kept taking away my tokens and beating me with a 5 stone hit.

Man 3 years later and this video still helped soo much. I was stuck on beating the dice champion for an order clue for like an hour straight and your advice made me win first try

@@kluocduoc9835 Skulds claim, Friggs sight, Loki's trick, Thrymr's theft, and ESPECIALLY Var's bond and Tyr's pledge which essentially renders this tactic useless... but otherwise yes its a great strategy to use on lesser opponents

Thank you! Your strategy helped a lot. Knowing in the beginning what to pick was a major game changer. After a few wins it all became easier. Holding off a few rounds before using thor's god favor always got the opponent good.

I came up with similar strategy as yours. At first, I couldn't understand a thing about this board game but I finally got it after quite a number of loses.
i lost to the champion in buckingham 6 times before watching this vid LOL, i won on my second try with this strat... i still feel like you need to win the toss. THANK YOU

I wanna say that what i use is also quite effective:
Heimdall's watch, Odin's sacrifice, Brunhild fury
First play till u have 10 coin. Then sacrifice 4 to 6 health, and then Brunhild fury. If u cant get all the axes, heal with Heimdall, and try again next round. You can deal up to 30 damage under the right circumstances.

Was using this video to show a friend trying to convince him to buy the real life game, this is literally the exact strategy I learned myself after the first few games and I can confirm I've never lost a game using this strategy. He's gonna hate me when we play 😂

Yeah, this strategy doesnt work for me, tried it a dozen times and lost every time.....
Yeah but keep in mind though he didn't say that it was a guaranteed strategy to win every game...
Quick and easy strategy does not imply a guarantee win
Just like with a drinking game even if you mash the x button on your PlayStation controller or whatever it is on Xbox you can still lose.
Simply the AI for the drinking game and the dice game they are pretty f****** intelligent than actual players
Even though at the end of the video he said your Victory is guaranteed he only said that because in the video he won the game.
This game is like hard asf but easier once u get in to it
Some drinking npcs are unbeatable (dude with the sheep)

Pretty late to this but still. There is another way that I’ve found easier. Basically you do the same as this but with skadis hunt as god favor. If you don’t know which one this is, it adds arrows for each arrow die rolled. You can add up to three arrows for each die that rolled arrow. You’ll need 14 chips to activate the favor at stage three. All you have to do to get this to work is do the same that this video shows. Only focus on the dotted and stealing dices. Eventually when you get 14 chips. Just go for arrows in the next turn. The activate the god favor (skadis hunt) to give three extra arrows to each die that rolled arrow. This will most likely get rid of all the opponents health stones at once. Just make sure that you don’t waste it. Even if you have 14 chips, don’t use the favor if you only got one or two arrow dices

Once I figured this out, these became pretty simple. I mostly just went for the 5 strikes. One thing I'd add is when it gets down to them only have 2-3 of those stones left I just pick all weapon attacks. Odds are they can't block them and it doesn't give them a chance to heal . If you have the god favor that gives you an extra dice or two, us the last of your cards on that.

This is the most useful peice of information that I have been told.
Some other vids explained this to much like 10 to 12 mins clips and I just got lost in everything, i never good to learn a new board game never was never will But I eventually understand with time and patient friends. But your vid made it so simple and just was saying : hmm hmm hmmmmhmmm. The entire time. Thanks... + your 5:47 timeline sold a click see and worth it.

i do priotitize the hand and dotted lines, but you still shouldn't neglect your lives. you will need protection (...even when they dont have dotted lines) if you dont have a god that can help you gain life when shielding or just getting them out of thin air
