At 5:08 Niko won on Kings & Jacks not Jacks & Twos since what's on the table counts as part of your hand as well.
Also a bit painful to watch when you fold without a raise..
also when D would call 50 then raise 10, thats not allowed since it has to be at least another 50 chips. Im only 1:38 in and already see some issues. Although they may like playing a different way, thats the rules for the WSOP and i think all casinos.

At 5:10, that 2 pairs is not JJ22, but KKJJ.

It does count... for everyone. It's always the highest hand in the table. If the table itself is the highest hand, then everyone still in during the reveal, will split the pot.

I love you guys but please never do this again. Obviously have fun playing off camera but there were so many ridiculously bad things in this video, first and foremost not knowing the rules when one of you was raised 50 and then raised that bet by 10... a reraise has to be of equal size to the initial raise
Maybe they meant raise that 50 by 10, therefore 60? There is no such things as a "reraise" with equal amount. Well if it's the same amount, it's just a "call".
strangerpwee watch the video and you'll see what I mean when it happens. Im pretty sure its Nico but whomever it is, gets raised 50. He then says raise, puts in the 50 and then says like 10 more and chucks in a single 10 chip...
Sorry if I wasn't clear. Source: Played like 200,000 hands of poker lifetime so I'd say I'm fairly well versed - "reraise has to be of equal size to the initial raise" means that if you reraise, the increase in the amount you bet has to be at least the size of the previous raise. i.e. if someone bets 20 and gets raised to 50, the initial raiser can either fold, call or reraise to an amount of 80 or above as the reraise has to be at least 30 amount (the initial reraise)
Oh I get it now. I actually didn't know that rule and it figures because I only know the basics. Maybe they weren't aware of that rule too or they were all amenable to the changes. Anyway, this is just a casual poker game :)
@Jack My thoughts exactly. BUT the re-raise only has to be equal to the amount raised previously. This means that if player 1 bets 10, player 2 bets 50, player 3's minimum raise would be to 90.

Good game guys, play for larger amount's like $20 buy-in's with 1st place($50) 2nd place($20) and 3rd place($10) and it gets pretty interesting on a serious level.

This was neat watching node play poker.... but, it was also cringe worthy! They need to get better at poker if they plan on doing more of these. I'm no pro, but they were playing at the level of having your girlfriend join your poker game and not knowing what beats what! Especially when Dee said "It was almost a royal..." he doesn't even know the difference between a royal flush and a straight flush -_-
Also.. they were amazed on the last round that they had the exact same amount of chips. But the round before, they both went all in and split the pot. So it was perfectly logical for them to have the same amount.

If they were doing things correctly, going all in doesn't put all the chips in the pot, only enough to cover the lower amount. Tho it's probable that they screwed up and split everything evenly causing someone to loose chips.
Brandon Francey That often happens in live poker, especially going heads up. Putting all of your chips in an all-in even if the other player has less chips doesn't really matter since it's a win or lose scenario in both cases.
Brandon Francey yeah i noticed that too. when niko said all in, they needed to actually count out their chips and just put in the lower amount. who ever had less just won more than they put in.. This was terrible.

It depends on the side card not the suit. And they both had Jacks so I'd assume it was a tie? I'm not 100% though
Having played Telltale Texas Hold'em along with Poker Night At The Inventory 1 & 2;
If 2 or more players have the same combination of cards, the pot (or sidepot) is split equally between them.
Since Dee & Niko both had Jack & 8 in-hand and they shared the common cards (pair of 8's) on the table, technically that should have had Sam or Brandon count the chips and split them (as) equally (as possible).

When you do an all in, the person who has less chips just has to put all of his chips in.

At 1:40, the player with Pocket 9s is making two mistakes. First, he can't say "I'll match you and I'll raise you." That is a string bet. When he says "I'll match you" he is making a *call* and that call is binding. Secondly, when he does raise, he must raise *at least* the size of the previous bet. When Red Glasses bets $50, Pocket Nines can call $50, can raise to $100, can raise any amount more than $100, but he *cannot* raise $10 (to 60 "all day") I don't know if you're in the Austin area, but if you are, I'd LOVE to help you set up a REAL poker game that follows the rules - your setup with the GoPros is awesome, but I think you need more help with running the game.

Node Great vid, but make the cards graphic larger next time so we can see it better. There's not much happening on screen, so might as well enlarge the cards size by a good 20% or so.
I didn't know how to play poker and after watching the video in the description, I found myself pausing this one to see who would win each hand.

2 dollar bills are not worth more than 2 dollars. They're out of circulation true, but their value never went up except as a collectors item, and even then good luck trying to find someone to pay more than their face value.
