    Thank you!!!.. I am new to the candle making business.. I started in March and have a long list of wasted time and money...I got to a point where i was stuck. Wasn't nothing coming together. No website no business name no labels.. I came to the point of giving up. When I came across your videos. I want to say thank you!!! I know that i need to start back over with a PLAN.. Please keep them coming... #JustAGirlWithAVision

    Great view of your work space. Very Impressive, organized and neat. You sound like a great Step-Dad. I like that you understand that children can get curious and look or handle things that they shouldn't.

    Video idea - Can you maybe please show us your cleanup process? Your candle room is so neat and clean and organized but I wonder, do you wash the molds and other equipment? Is there a sink nearby? I've learned so much from your videos so far.
    Thanks!

      I don't like the two part lid that comes with a mason jar, so I order my own to go on the finished products. www.rusticescentuals.com has some nice ones. The best part is, you can keep the original lids and resell them to crafters of people who can vegetables.

    Amazing! thank you for the inspiration. unfortunately, I do not have the space for shelves but I make do with what I got! I love your set up and functionality!
    I do have a question related to candles and wasn't sure where to ask or if i could message you somehow, but I was wondering how do you make sure your candles and melts ship without melting in transit? I know you work as a mail delivery man (thank you, I appreciate you and what you do) so i thought maybe you can help a bit more since you know what happens to a package when shipping.
    I am starting to plan my candle business and want to ensure that everyone gets my candles how I want them to.
    Thank you so much!

      and i know wax type depends too, so for reference, I am using EcoSoya Q210. Thanks!

      Check out my latest shipping video. It explains a few tips and some of the supplies I use. The cornstarch packing peanuts work great to protect the candles, and act as insulation as well.

    Been watching a lot of your videos. Just curious--for container candles do you always use The Alex Method and do you always use the 464 wax?

    • @TimberRidgeGifts
      @TimberRidgeGifts  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      for the majority of my projects I will use 464 with the Alex method.

    Hey Tim... Can I ask where you get you jars from... I use Amazon... But I was wondering where you get yours and if you got them wholesale... ?

    • @TimberRidgeGifts
      @TimberRidgeGifts  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      My mason jars are sourced locally from whatever store happens to be cheapest at the time. So Wal-Mart, Target, Sams, Costco, Tractor Supply, Ace Hardware... all carry mason jars in their canning sections.

    Have you ever had to use the fire extinguisher?

      Not yet lol. The smoke alarm has gone off several times though!

    Another question. Do you always use 12% fragrance with the 464 wax?

    • @TimberRidgeGifts
      @TimberRidgeGifts  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Generally between 10% to 12% depending on the fragrance oil
