I just imagined Dracula looking out the castle window saying: Dracula: OK I could've sworn you came through the gates already. Why keep reentering? Simon: These are multiple variations of the game. And they want to put multiple takes on it. Dracula: It's just a f🐐king gate! How is this so complicated!? Here, take this key. It'll get you in through the kitchen.
The 8 bit ports is a classic best intro like you arrived home in gate dealing some big mess but it's dracula and his legions wanting to conquer humanity. Chronicle is indeed scary intro because of how it looks in hd Castlevania 4 is something I can feel about this intro, with fog fading away as you arrived dracula castle and his legions protecting their master including death, must have gave my spine chilling because they been serious about the atmosphere

Reminiscing on the days when home computers couldn't compete with the consoles😉 ...
( MS-Dos and Commidore 64 ... you make me smile! )
Dracula shouldn’t have messed with Elvis.
You missed one: PC 2002.
Konami Collectors' Edition: CastleVania and Contra.
Thank goodnes the PC MS-DOS intro is so short. It's like the music record kept skipping into a stuttering fit
Finalmente, um video decente sobre essas versões.
Takes me back to old school Bits and Beats.

What a great franchise, and I still get chills (the good kind) when I see these intros.
Love these comparisons!
Best intro ever. 👌
Super Castlevania 4 still awesome to this day
I forgot about thr arcade Haunted Castle. That was such an ass game but helped shape up Castlevania.
I remember playing haunted castle on arcade, so great. Intro is the best too.
Never played it on Amiga but I am surprised intro on Amiga is so bad .
Some old awesome memories of horror

@@BitsBeats oh entiendo, espero vuelvas pronto.
Super Castlevania IV, still the best one
Man, I forgot how absolutely HORRENDOUS pc speaker music was on msdos 😂. Brings back memories of King's quest 😅
New releases since this video that uses the same intro:
Castlevania Revamped (Lv.4 Games, 2024)
4 totally different games
