    I would buy Chinese succulents. It's just a matter of finding a reputable seller. That's the hard part anywhere in the world you order. My sedum clavatums are struggling as well dahil it wasn't properly air dried when it shipped. And it was from Korea,, pero I bought from a US re-seller. Depends talaga if it's shipped properly. You have a beautiful collection.

      I agree! We're lucky here in the PH coz most chinese succulent resellers are very responsible. They've improve a lot in handling, packaging and pricing.. Plus chinese succulents that are being sold here now have also improved in quality.. Hope your sedum clavatum will improve soon. My goal with my sedum clavatum is to keep it alive until November. November til early March is ideal for succulent growth here.

      @@albertcalibo It looks like you'll be able to keep them alive. In recovery state na so that's good. Mine, super chubby dumating full of water, so nag tubig and isa isa naglagas. Halos kalbo na ngayon, but there are so many new babies growing. Ok lang yan, after a year, super ganda naman siguro transformation ng mga poorly shipped clavatum natin. 😅😅😅

    Please share potting mix for succulent plants

    • @albertcalibo
      @albertcalibo  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Sunita! For most of my succulents specially echeverias my soilmix is 70% pumice and 30% organic components (vermicast and sometimes with a little of Akadama and cocopeat). This soilmix works in our area which is very humid all year round.

    I'm so glad I found your channel here. I just subscribed. How much rain do you get in your area? I'm trying to see if the conditions are similar to my sub-tropical climate in Central Florida (USA) as I continue watching your wonderful videos.

    • @albertcalibo
      @albertcalibo  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Nannette! Our summer is really dry (March-May) and Rainy season is from June-November. During rainy season, we get a lot of rains almost every afternoon. But there are times where intense rains last up to 3-5 days straight.

    • @nannetteaustin2308
      @nannetteaustin2308 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@albertcalibo Could you ever release a video that focuses on succulents that seem to handle endless rain (for the most part)? Those of us with rainy hot summers love to find varieties that may survive with the right soil amendments. I have a lot that survive the rain but learn all the time of others that survive as well. :)
