I have converted every log hater I've ever met by literally just showing them vigil. Then ruin. Then laid to rest. Now they are all die hards, no joke. If you're a log hater it's becuAse you've never listened to them, period.
I don't like log and I've heard all of their albums until Resolution. They're good musicians but they've been making the same album since As the Palaces Burn.
The same album since ATPB? Personally the way I see LoG albums is a two album cycle. Gospel and Palaces were fairly similar in style in that they were fast, aggressive and heavy; these were followed by Ashes and Sacrament which were slower, groovier and darker; then came Wrath and Resolution which were again a bit faster but not quite as aggressive as Gospel and Palaces, with more emphasis on the groove and riffs as established in Ashes and Sacrament but without the dark tone, and then there's Sturm und Drang which again is a progression from Resolution.
All their albums are solid whoever the latest in 2020... Seems like a recycle album of their whole discography maybe they aimed for that?? i miss chris adler.. its just not the same Not saying the new one is bad
You make an excellent point with #1. Metallica are crucified for changing their sound and selling out and changing their sound. Yet when bands keep their sound llike slayer or lamb of god they get called boring and derivative. You cant win with metal fans, they're not happy unless they're miserable and complaining about something.
are you familiar with these bands because the only band you mentioned that stayed true to their sound is Slayer. Slayer is huge and still very respected in the underground metal world. They are one of the only bands to accomplish the success they have and still have respect and its because they never changed their sound. No one in the underground respects Lamb or Metallica cause they have changed their sound so much. Slayer is a perfect example that if a band stays true to their sound metal fans will respect them. Metal fans don't support BS it has nothing to do with being miserable.
Lamb Of God JUST released a tribute song to the cousin of one of my best friends because he knew the band and died of a disease he had and they wanted to do something for him in his memory so fuck what anybody says i know theyre good people
+NinjaPooff The Duke! Yup, I'll be talking about the EP when it drops. The 5 Reasons videos are comprised of the opinions of those who dislike the band, not my own. They gave him a helluva tribute.
***** yes I know it was mostly text messages, but Randy also calls her on the phone relatively often, and has met randy a few times. So no, she isn't his right hand or anything, but she does have stories, so don't fuckin tall about my family like that
And there is nothing wrong with hating and not liking a band. I don't like Lamb of God they do nothing for me. I do enjoy bands like Starkill, Dark Tranquillity, Arch Enemy, and Kalmah to name a few. There are bands out there that are heavier, faster and far more extreme then anything Lamb of God have done.
Yeah I have a couple friends who like em and some who don't I personally like some of their stuff but not all of it they don't suck but they aren't top tier for me
also I had a hard time getting into em cause there's this douchebag from when I was in highschool who ruined alot of bands for me like I can't listen to shit without thinking of this jackass to name a few: LoG, Children of Bodom and megadeth are all bands I can't stand anymore
SHREDa RIFFic no this guy literally fucked up 4 years of my life, turned my girlfriend and all the friends I had at the time against me, drove me to the point of being suicidal and I can't go to New England without feeling like there's a target on the back of my head it's been about 4 or 5 years since I moved I still occasionally have nightmares about the guy this is much worse than just some random douche
Both fit in the category of hillbilly metal on some stuff. There is that one extremely hilljack band that's even worse tho an thank God I forget who they are. It's a little disqusting how there are people who say they are into metal an only listen to slayer-log-pantera. These are like Kardashians. Just usually from west Virginia. This is one legit reason why this field gets hate. Hell I was embarrassed to say I liked slayer in the 90s cause supposedly everyone did. Today the boys below 40 listen to deathcore an finally USA kids learned what blackmetal from 1990s is. So the females; buy all these clothing an then listen to Justin beiber or Travis tritt. It's much eaiser to see what bands attract posers in the black metal an deathcore field because it's just such noise to them they can't even fake listen to it. An also since USA only knows what black metal is cause a fake Hollywood film all the bands laugh at; the posers think black metal is Christian music an early black metal superstars are evil. Unless it's meyhem. Who themselves were insulted by the USA kids Bible aka the film
Probably because Randy Blythe said repeatedly that he'd leave the country if Trump got elected, along with dozens of other celebrities, amd just like all the other celebrities, he was just saying dumb shit the he had no intention of following through on his threats. Metal heads are kinda turned off by phoney wannabes who sell out, then when the times comes, they were just blowing smoke.
On the note that they're not a christian band. I was wearing a Lamb of God shirt, I had an old lady come randomly come up to me and tell me she thought it was great, "what you young people are doing for the lord". I respect my elders and didn't think it to be appropriate to troll her.
I had this happen as well. The older gentleman asked what church I went to so I just said one...turned out that he went to the church that I lied about going to...

Heaven forbid any one have a different taste then what you like fucking dumb ass.
On Blackened the Cursed Sun. right after the intro when Randy comes in gives me chills still to this day. Alot of their stuff is truly dark and simplistically ingenious. As a long time fan I would recommend listening to Ashes of the Wake and the Sacrament albums. The later stuff now from the past couple of years sounds more groove metal than ever now but it's watev.
How about I just like to listen to bands like I don't know Iced Earth, Dark Tranquillity, Emperor, Kamelot, etc. You know because people have different tastes in metal.
You probably don't like Whitechapel, Job for a Cowboy or Suicide Silence. Because you are just better than that. You are a metal elite. So, ill go listen to Breaking Benjamin for you pal. :)
I don't think I've EVER ONCE met someone who hates Lamb Of God in any way shape or form. Even when it comes to their newest album's track "Overlord," which presented a quite different "softer" style & clean vocals etc., many people I know who are religiously big LOG fans, loved it. They loved the idea they explored new elements & basically fuckin' nailed it. So I don't know.
i wouldn't put them top five, top 20 maybe but not top five when you throw them in the same basket as some of these pioneer bands, or newer age bands it puts them with some stiff competition
It's refreshing to hear someone who speaks from their heart. You don't say "um", you don't edit/cut your videos when you explain things, and it is clear that you're passionate about what you dedicate your time to. You've found something that you love, and that's a lot more than monetarily successful people can say for themselves. I clicked on this video because I wondered how someone who loves metal couldn't love Lamb of God, and I was happily surprised. Keep doin your thing man.
Lamb of God took the best aspects of the big four and merged it with the crushing groove of Pantera. What the fuck is not to love I'll never understand.
I don't hate them but from what I heard they're pretty much the cookie cutter death metal sound, unlike bands like Death or Opeth or Atheist (the few DM bands I can enjoy)
well, i'd find kind of funny to state that they are a cookie cutter because to me, along with death, they are the godfathers of death metal, so it's the average death metal band that refers to them sonically. if i was a more die hard into traditional death metal i'd find bands such as opeth or the ones belonging to the scandinavian melodic death and similar a bunch of posers (i do not do that, in fact i enjoy cob and in flames, and opeth influence the music i make, but cannibal seem way more "true" to me).
I myself was a religious person and I also bought this because of the reason presented in #5, and turned out to love it. I am now a diehard metalhead and want to show that Christians can be hardcore metalheads too!!!
What got me hooked was the instrumental version of Sturm Und Drang. I had never really listened to them before hand. I knew the song Laid to Rest but that was it. When I heard Mark and Willie's guitar playing I was so blown away and instantly they became of my favorite bands.
I really really want LOG to remake as the palaces burn album with better audio quality. Such a great album... Actually I cant pick a favorite. Grace is one of my favorite metal tracks for life
"Ashes of the wake", and "Sacrament" are my top two. "Ashes of the wake" because of "Remorse is for the dead", and "Blood of the scribe", and "Sacrament" because of "walk with me in hell" (to this day the intro riff to this song is my warm up as soon as I grab my guitar...perfect warmup riff...try it if you haven't.), and "Blacken the cursed sun"...that song is epic from start to finish. Either way it's really tough for me to even choose a favorite...I love all of them, and they're all a snapshot in time of where the band was at in their composing and life in general. They are all masterpieces...but if I was stuck on an island and HAD to choose only one..."Sacrament" would most likely be it. Songs like "walk with me in hell", "blacken the cursed sun", and "Descending" would definitely get me by for a while.
I'm a fan & Chris Adler is their drummer!!! Saw them a few months ago at a local music fest & then later in the day, saw Chris drum for Megadeth! He's the man:-)
i didn't realize there were any metalheads who didn't like Lamb of God. It was my understanding that they were a universally liked band by all branches of metal.
How the fuck are they not metal? And also I like LOG but not Pantera (Don't crucify me, it's my opinion) so how does that work xD Also their live shows are the best which shows constancy because they can perform their songs like the recording live.. A lot of bands can't do that xD
***** Do they? They sound metal asf to me xD If you mean punk like Sex pistols then wtf i see no similarities.. surely hardcore punk wouldn't have screams like LOG have in their songs xD
I think through the years as the sub genre's have gotten more heavier and extreme people they think that somehow changes where the line is between Metal and Hard Rock. I see people argue that Black Sabbath aren't metal even though you can't argue that they basically created the the genre and are seen as one of the first heavy metal bands. Sorry just because you've gotten used to more extreme types of metal it doesn't suddenly make heavy metal bands not metal anymore. if you're comparing Lamb of God to bands now then yes, they don't sound as heavy or hardcore but if someone heard them 30 years ago they'd be like wtf is this scary shit? it's just people saying omg you listen to them? what a pussy, I'm way more hardcore than you. Alot of Metal fans just like to be dicks and try to look down on fans who still like their music to sound a bit like music
Callum Grant I think people should just like what they want. Honestly the whole sub genre thing is stupid there must be an easier way instead of 50,000,000 different genres 'Yeah man just listening to some Symphonic progressive sludge death metal' like seriously :') And if you compare old bands to now, bands like Motorhead are hard rock.. idk where i'm going with his :') just rambling at this point xD
Most people I've ever met that don't like Lamb of God have just never truly listened to them. They just assume that they are a "generic" metal band but I just recommend a few of my favorites and they ALWAYS change their minds.
GOOD STUFF MAN. L.O.G. DO ALOT OF STORY TELLING WITH THEIR MUSIC. BOTH GUITARIST ARE GREATS. Just when you thought they couldnt keep going as strong as they have, their newest album kills it. THEY HAVE NOT GONE SOFT WITH A SOLD OUT SOUND LIKE METALICA, OR LOST ANY OF THEIR SIGNIFICANCE LIKE SLIPKNOT, even thou i still love, SK, LAMB OF GOD, ARE THE FLAGSHIP OF THE METAL I LOVE.
My dislike of Lamb of God is this: ever since I was introduced to them everyone of their fans seemed to be elitist and to dislike the band wrote you off as a poser or “unmetal” or narrow-minded. I listened to them and tried to get into them but I just couldn’t. I heard other bands I felt could run circles around LoG and, to this day, I just think they are extremely overrated and never understood how they, and other metal core bands, garnered so much popularity. I hated the “True/Pure American Metal” ethos but most of all I loath the fanboys; they are the most narrow-minded people I have ever met in the heavy metal world
I think the reason why Lamb Of God was compared to Pantera so much was because of their sound taking groove metal, hard core, thrash metal, and death metal by mashing all up together.
#6 - Moshing. It's a part of most heavy shows, but usually just a small pit in front of the stage, and people who don't like it can stay away. But in a Lamb of God show the band actively encourages it and takes time out of the show to build a Wall of Death, which usually results in huge moshes - so it's harder to avoid it.
I won tickets to see lamb of god from tunespeak when they toured with slipknot. Being a guitarist mark Morton (the guitar player) is very influential to me.
From Burn the Priest to VII: Sturm und Drang, Lamb of God remain fucking awesome! Listen to Ruiner, Black Label, Ruin, Laid to Rest, Blacken the Cursed Sun, Dead Seeds, Desolation, & Embers to hear how they've changed and grown.
Not sure I agree. I loved their first two albums and worshiped the two albums they did with Machine, but their last three albums have kind of seemed more like general hardcore or punk and way less structured. Would love to hear them get back with Machine and create an opus. On that note I would argue that because of their sound changes, however minor, that I hear people prefer one and complain about changes to their sound as a reason someone doesn't like them.
Lamb seems to write albums in couplets. New American Gospel and Palaces sound similar. Ashes and Sacrament sound similar. Wrath and Resolution are the same. Then there's VII.
got started with their album: Sacrament and stopped at Ne Obliviscaris' Citadel album..... there is a lot of albums and bands I went through but Lamb of God is where I got my start in the metal genre and stopped after nearly 5-6 years now I'm all about that independent music (Tyrant of Death, Stoned Witch Hunt, Emezie Okorafor)
I just jump of the train at sacrament the same with average seven foiled I like their old stuff but not going to any of their concerts in the future I still love this band they just went in a direction I didn't want to go :)
no log song is boring to me, but that s not the case with slipknot. They ve got many boring songs mixed with some fucking computer effects. They aren't as raw as log
I respect others' opinions, but God damn how can someone say they're not metal enough? Sure they're not "underground" and definitely have a unique sound. Some might think that means their albums are derivative. To me the fact they're true to their style, have never gone soft, and still crush sales to me means they're really good at their craft. All my opinions of course. One thing I will swear to is they're easily top 3 live. Truly bad ass and tight. To me that's a mark of high end musicianship.
See, I don't understand why we (as \M/etalheads) can let bands divide us so greatly. Every one else hates us, we don't need to hate each other over such petty things. I personally LOVE Lamb of God and Pantera, and I don't understand how just because you like one band, you can't just like them both. Guys, just remember that in the end, we are all in this together. (P.S. To all of those who think that metalheads are heartless satan worshipers: while I do consider myself to be atheist, my *Catholic*, yes Catholic, girlfriend loves to listen to Amon Amarth, Dying Fetus, and if I give her the aux, Nickleback. Metal doesn't make you satanic, satan does) P.P.S - Sorry for the randomness, kinda went on a rant there....
Josh Kinder Its called one's own taste in music. Hate to break this to you. But LOG do nothing for me the way Dark Tranquillity, Arch Enemy, Kalmah, Kamelot, Delain, and Death do. You can like them a you want. Stop trying to shove them on to other people that don't. If you don't like the bands I like that's fine. You don't have to.
lamb of god to me has an amazing mix of not to different but different enough inbetween their songs. like I can listen to a lamb of god song and know it's lamb of god. they aren't writing and pop songs or rap songs idk they are sticking to their core but they also don't just do the same shit over and over and I have listed to every one of their songs many times and have not gotten bored of one.
Progressive Blackened Grindcore Death Thrash band. I thought of sludge guitars, grindcore drums, and death metal gutterals = blood metal, but if somebody watches this and decides to make you new metal genre a challenge to accept, please let us know about it.
First of all with me there is no likes and or dislikes with bands I've grown I've grown up with rock and roll since I was just a child and I was born May 15th 1997 growing up with the oldest rock a child my age wouldn't have grown up with and for one reason since I'm a musician myself I love all bands I've Loved all the music I've heard over the years I don't hate a single metal band I've heard yet every musician I believe deserves their respect and people who say I just like this and just like that well I don't bother to argue because arguing is a waste of time and it's childish takes two to do so and I'm not a child anymore 20 years old
LoG was my fav band...and what inspired me to play Drums and guitar, first time hearing 11th Hour, or The Faded Line was a complete game changer for me with that being said - I never really cared for anything they released after 2006 1. New American Gospell 2. Ashes of the Wake 3. As the Palace Burns 4. Sacrament -my fav albums of LoG. Yea the new stuff are energetic..... but in a stale.. over-produced way.... :/ for me at least!
I got bored last week and gave 3 songs a chance, didn't like it. They were boring. Just another heavy band. I wanted to listen to Sepultura after the 3 songs. I don't hate them, just never cared for them and tried- but no thanks..
Which 3 did you listen to? Was one of them at least Vigil or 11th Hour? I don't listen anything after 'as the palaces burn,' to be honest, but the first three albums were alright.
Michael Robertson I don't remember, one of them was a black and white video and probably recent, the others are blur. I heard some other stuff but it's basically heavy elevator music to me- not bad but not something intriguing to me.
Musically, I never hated any individual LOG song. All their songs have a specific sound with a bit of a different change in *(as I typed this, you said #3... and I stopped)* their music to be different enough that you can still say they are LOG and not doing the same thing all the time. To me, they are this generation's kings of metal, kinda like Metallica of the '80s and maybe Pantera of the '90s, if not tied with Gojira.
haha😂....lamb of god is for pure metalheadszz...only darkest souls can understand what they are trying to do....and the last thing i wanna say is......randy sounds like a metal god ...as a vocalist i know how far upgraded his voice works...i love him...he is my icon..💗
I have converted every log hater I've ever met by literally just showing them vigil. Then ruin. Then laid to rest. Now they are all die hards, no joke. If you're a log hater it's becuAse you've never listened to them, period.

Or you just don't like it? Just doesn't jive? Doesn't always have to be some dumb reason.
funny you mention that vigil is what got me hooked.
Vigil is the fucking bomb
Didn't even know people hated LOG lol
Me either mate
yeah me either but who cares
All their albums are solid whoever the latest in 2020...
Seems like a recycle album of their whole discography maybe they aimed for that?? i miss chris adler.. its just not the same
Not saying the new one is bad
@@Koragh_ art Cruz is a pretty good replacement though. He's not Adler, in terms of style, but he definitely keeps up in speed and fill-creativity.
I can’t stand the vocals.
This guy is Lester from GTA5 if Lester was metal.
Would be even more hilarious if he does the show with a cane beside him
burnininhell 😂😂😂😂 that's true
+Oreoawe seem like barney greenway napalm death..
and Randy is Trevor
Omg yes

DUKE!!!!!!
Wayne (the cancer victim) is the ex husband of my uncles fiance, and she tells lamb of god stories all the time it's cool
***** yes I know it was mostly text messages, but Randy also calls her on the phone relatively often, and has met randy a few times. So no, she isn't his right hand or anything, but she does have stories, so don't fuckin tall about my family like that
"We're a punk band that plays heavy metal" - John Campbell
theres only one reason why people hate lamb of god and thats because those people are wrong....
Wow! LoG is actually hated? I thought it was imposible xD
+juan10k106 yup, just about any band out there is gonna have a couple haters.
And there is nothing wrong with hating and not liking a band. I don't like Lamb of God they do nothing for me. I do enjoy bands like Starkill, Dark Tranquillity, Arch Enemy, and Kalmah to name a few.

Why would people hate such an awesome band? LOG are fucking great. I think all the people who hate them are Justin Beiber fans.
i agree with this!!
Nino Falletta I do not like them because I think they are posers
marios matzoros Then go keep listening to Justin Bieber
I listen to black and brutal slamming death metal which is way more extreme than lamb of god
Nino Falletta also their lyrics are nothing compared to bands like wintersun
I'm seriously curious as to why anyone would hate a talented and down-to-earth band like Lamb of God.
BECAUSE PEOPLE HAVE DIFFERENT TASTES IN METAL.
Kevin Bergquist, you seem to be a really calm, likeable down-to-earth person.
Not.
On the note that they're not a christian band. I was wearing a Lamb of God shirt, I had an old lady come randomly come up to me and tell me she thought it was great, "what you young people are doing for the lord". I respect my elders and didn't think it to be appropriate to troll her.

Lol same here
I had this happen as well. The older gentleman asked what church I went to so I just said one...turned out that he went to the church that I lied about going to...
Gingerscantbepirates calm down pls
My grandma said Lamb of god what is that?
I've never met a person who hates LOG (that is a metalhead)
LAMB OF GOD ARE GODS!!! Randy, I love you my friend and thank you for the AWESOME birthday cameo!!!! Truly an AWESOME dude.

Because they have an opinion different than yours.
+TheKnightBlade4 Not Iron Maiden :)

I'd love to see the bible thumper go buy a Lamb of God album not knowing shit about the band. Id pay to see that kind of a reaction.
John I'm a "Bible Thumper".. my reaction was...have fun being an eternal French fry for Satan , fellas.
Angela Young You jokin?

@@slumpnmyrump4986 verbal dislike
I was actually hesitant about listening to lamb of god because I was afraid it would be heavily religious xD
That's ironic and hilarious
There is NO reason at all to hate LoG, it is one of the top 5 bands in the world EVER!
They are purely amazing. Especially live, their shows are fuckin epic as fuck
i wouldn't put them top five, top 20 maybe but not top five when you throw them in the same basket as some of these pioneer bands, or newer age bands it puts them with some stiff competition
Nina they are a top 5 metal band ....of all time
erm some people like me hate metal core but I do have a soft spot for LOG
Nina, who are the other four bands? Death? Beatles? I wanna know
It's refreshing to hear someone who speaks from their heart.
Matter of taste. I will take Dark Tranquillity, Amon Amarth, and Kalmah, over LoG any day of the week.
+Delain124 Same.
And you can actually understand 80% of what Randy is singing and he still sounds as brutal as all these guttural boneheads.
my mom once bought me a lamb of God cd thinking it was religious music lol
Awesome
5 reasons why people hate cannibal corpse
people hate cannibal corpse?
Go on any Death video and you'll see comments about how Death is "teh one true deth metal band not dat cannibal corpz shit!1!"
Yes.
I wouldn't fall into the hate category, more the "It's really not my cup of tea" category
When I heard Mark and Willie's guitar playing I was so blown away and
instantly they became of my favorite bands.
best album ever made was and always will be (AS THE PALACES BURN) thumbs up if u agree
K R Y P T I K nah, the best LOG album was "Ashes of the wake"
Tie between Ashes of the Wake and Sacrament
I really really want LOG to remake as the palaces burn album with better audio quality. Such a great album... Actually I cant pick a favorite. Grace is one of my favorite metal tracks for life
I think they remastered ATPB a couple of years ago, you should check that out...
This was a great summation. Good Job!!! Oh, and Soooo true on every point.
I'm a fan & Chris Adler is their drummer!!! Saw them a few months ago at a local music fest & then later in the day, saw Chris drum for Megadeth! He's the man:-)
absolutely fantastic perspective and arguments! keep on rocking man!
Not metal enough? lol
The lead vocalist has one of the most badass unique growls I've ever heard.
lamb of god is my #1 band of all time!... Every goddamn track of every album is mind blowing!!!!
i didn't realize there were any metalheads who didn't like Lamb of God. It was my understanding that they were a universally liked band by all branches of metal.
With anyone who is into the real stuff I agree, then again you always have the black/death metal elitists who think everything is garbage.
Nick Miles only people I've seen who hate LoG are edgy deathcore kids who think 90 notes a sec with dying animal vocals are the only cool thing
I love this dude. Hits the nail on the head especially with number 3
How the fuck are they not metal? And also I like LOG but not Pantera (Don't crucify me, it's my opinion) so how does that work xD Also their live shows are the best which shows constancy because they can perform their songs like the recording live.. A lot of bands can't do that xD
Tiago Rezende This made my day
***** Do they? They sound metal asf to me xD If you mean punk like Sex pistols then wtf i see no similarities.. surely hardcore punk wouldn't have screams like LOG have in their songs xD
***** nice xD
I like Lamb of God more than Pantera lol
Both are subpar.
i understand #5 and also laughed
#3 was very fucking stupid
5 reasons people love mastodon
or hate
Yeh I never thought of that Mastodon kicks ass!
+Blackend Thrashin Death 'n Doom hell yeah
Walk with me in Hell is one of the best put together metal songs of all time. Every note in it is there on purpose and the solo is insane.
They have the best riffs. I wish they did an instrumental album.
Lamb of god is and always will be my favorite band of all time
5 reasons why people hate red hot chili peppers
I hated the “True/Pure American Metal” ethos but most of all I loath the fanboys; they are the most narrow-minded people I have ever met in the heavy metal world
Thank you for saying it.
out of all the metalhead I've ever ran into, I have to admit not a single one disliked lamb of god.
Hey man, I've been watching your content for a long time now. You content is still awesome! Keep it up.
Wrath is one of my top ten favorite albums of all time
I never met a single human, anywhere who hates lamb of god!
Fuccck it man, my friend's dog and parrot loves them!
5 reasons why people hate coverkillernation
Matt Stensen number 5 his balding head
An excellent critique of one of my favorite bands of all fucking time.
Its like hating ice cream
Nobody hates ice cream
I appologize if someone asked this question before, but what`s the first background song title?
I think the reason why Lamb Of God was compared to Pantera so much was because of their sound taking groove metal, hard core, thrash metal, and death metal by mashing all up together.
& how they both rep the South
Never encountered a lamb of god hater
same here
+UrbanDanger ! You just found one!! I fucking hate that band!!
+Anthony Stone Well, I like Lamb of God, but to each their own.
I think that they are cool people. idk. I really have tried to get into them but I just never could.
5 Reasons Why People Hate Nightwish
Well two of them have to do with the singer changes. Though I can't think of anything else.
They're too poppy.
1. Randy 2. Randy 3. Randy 4. Randy 5. Randy
Lamb seems to write albums in couplets. New American Gospel and Palaces sound similar. Ashes and Sacrament sound similar. Wrath and Resolution are the same. Then there's VII.
got started with their album: Sacrament and stopped at Ne Obliviscaris' Citadel album.....
there is a lot of albums and bands I went through but Lamb of God is where I got my start in the metal genre and stopped after nearly 5-6 years
now I'm all about that independent music (Tyrant of Death, Stoned Witch Hunt, Emezie Okorafor)
I was curious if LAMB OF GOD had haters (i know its a big possibility)
So i wanted to know the reasons
I just jump of the train at sacrament the same with average seven foiled I like their old stuff but not going to any of their concerts in the future I still love this band they just went in a direction I didn't want to go :)
what's the song starting at the beginning pls ?
Log is unhateable. These guys never sold out. Never backed down but also didn't stay stagnant.
Killadelphia is the most insane live performance I've seen.
Do SLIPKNOT, I've met a lot of people that dislike them and their music.
+chrisazelaya1 check the playlist, I have :)
IGNORANT
^ LOL this guy must be deaf
no log song is boring to me, but that s not the case with slipknot. They ve got many boring songs mixed with some fucking computer effects. They aren't as raw as log
True MetalHeadBangers don't like Slipknot
How can you compare LOG to pantera. I understand the groove part but other then that they are to very different bands.
Mark and Willie don't even use a Floyd or any trem bridge on their guitars how can they be a copy of Pantera?
Didn't know Lester from GTA V was into metal music.
Metal doesn't make you satanic, satan does)
P.P.S - Sorry for the randomness, kinda went on a rant there....
Badass video man!
Progressive Blackened Grindcore Death Thrash band. I thought of sludge guitars, grindcore drums, and death metal gutterals = blood metal, but if somebody watches this and decides to make you new metal genre a challenge to accept, please let us know about it.
How does ashes of the wake sound like pantera? I don't really see it.
I know a guy who hates LoG. But it's because he knew them back in the day and Randy was a drunken dick to his band apparently :P
I don’t think a bands album discography not being consistent yearns a bunch of hate towards them.
Coverkillernation. Why do you have those dots on your forehead? krillin from dragonball has too and he is a monk
"Chad Kroeger's toenail" Hahah, do actually think Nickleback is okay, but that outro was hilarious.
metal is metal I enjoy it regardless of the hate people give bands these days.
Progressive Blackened Grindcore Deaththrash sounds amazing.
People hate Lamb of God??
I'm a Christian but lamb of god is one of my favourite bands.
I love them
I didn't always like lamb of God but I've always loved WALK WITH ME IN HELL
First of all with me there is no likes and or dislikes with bands I've grown I've grown up with rock and roll since I was just a child and I was born May 15th 1997 growing up with the oldest rock a child my age wouldn't have grown up with and for one reason since I'm a musician myself I love all bands I've Loved all the music I've heard over the years I don't hate a single metal band I've heard yet every musician I believe deserves their respect and people who say I just like this and just like that well I don't bother to argue because arguing is a waste of time and it's childish takes two to do so and I'm not a child anymore 20 years old
LoG was my fav band...and what inspired me to play Drums and guitar, first time hearing 11th Hour, or The Faded Line was a complete game changer for me
with that being said -
I never really cared for anything they released after 2006
1. New American Gospell
2. Ashes of the Wake
3. As the Palace Burns
4. Sacrament
-my fav albums of LoG.
Starving African Boy are you talking to me or the other guy
Michael Robertson I don't remember, one of them was a black and white video and probably recent, the others are blur. I heard some other stuff but it's basically heavy elevator music to me- not bad but not something intriguing to me.
Fucking A, man! I love your take on music. What about Steel Panther? LOL. I am curious on your take. I love 80s hair metal and 80s thrash
I'm not really a big Lamb Of God fan myself although I can why other people might like them.
LOG is à Awesome Band. I never hate à Band I Dont like à band but I dont hate. I respect musician ans their work
People hate Lamb of God? It's a dark world we live in.
So if you're not one of those people who hate lamb of god , you can watch my list of lamb of god top 10 riffs in my channel :D
