i had this idea for 8 years but never have the guts to do it! seems so much to do, and i have no idea how to print all the sheets. And the country i live in europe is very strict with rules that will probably say no to that. But i will make a try before 2020 ends! Thank you for a good video

The Muckleshoot Indian Tribe in Tacoma, WA have been doing this for over 20 years. I called the city one time to find out about a whole bunch of boards being built along the I-5. They buy a miniscule amount of land for installing a board and then charge $25k per ad. That was in the 90s, so just with inflation, that's about $40k today.

Cool. I was looking into land that already has a billboard and a company leasing it. Every year they cut a check and their old lease is expiring in a few years. 25 years! Didn’t know what to think of it.

Billboards only well when leased to major billboard operators, like JCD. they turn down so many of them, selling them to local business is not very profitable. better to do the approvals first then approach them ? not sure. interested video! the fans are popping up everywhere now, pretty gimicy but I like them!

BurgerIM would be an interesting franchise to make a on because it's a smaller, less known chain and u could talk about the kind of path they're on and compare them to other franchise's that were once in burgerim's situation.. whether those franchises failed or flourished
We dont link to bash smaller concepts however there are some concerns with the brand.

Your making this sound really easy but I've read that you can't just rent any old piece of property and build a billboard. The regulations are very intense which makes it really hard to find a new spot. That's why it's very rare to see new billboards being built and that's not due to lack of demand.
Absolutely am not suggesting anything is easy. Pointed out in cities you will likely have a challenge, and that you need approvals. Thx for the comment.

Cool! My old stomping grounds near Barrie. 2nd house we ever bought was in a town called Beeton - looks like right in the center of their territory! They're doing pretty good by the looks of it too :-)
Franchise City o ya... he just bought a big ol farm and built his dream house with a view on it. This might be something for you to make a vid on for people in the right area- he bought a 700J and bladed out his own land, got permitted for 6,900 loads and was being paid $30/load to have topsoil dropped off and, $50/load to have fill & rubble dropped off at his property. Was getting 100 loads/day for awhile. That paid for quite a chunk of the dream house.

Franchise City heck yea, hopefully if you ever need some land bladed out you can make some loot in the process! If you’re feeling feisty you could put the topsoil through a rotary trommel and sell it for $300/load too... if you’re in the right area dirt can be lucrative!

100% correct - we covered that in the video as part of the planning and research stage.. Unfortunately I have yet to find a business that does not have some type of hurdles. Personally I love hurdles because I know 99% of the population won't be following me!! Thanks for the comment.

They range from small screens like TV's in stores to huge outdoor models. Google "buy digital billboard" and a number of suppliers will show up.

No internet required! You could technically prospect for buyers in the local area using Google ads etc - but IMO old fashioned cold calling would yield best results.

no way. adblock works and nobody watches TV anymore. Billboards are killing it and will even more in the future

With the decline of newspapers, it seems like billboards would benefit. What other off-line options are there these days.
