yes, I needed to extend the brake lines because the Bilstein 5100 shocks are much longer than stock. if you have a standard 4x4 order centric 150.42354 brake line if you have a auto 4x4 with traction control order centric 150.42370 brake line
No, looks to be out back. Even so it would only add stress at full extension and stock if you look underneath the cv axels are about horizontal. Not much angle and it won’t effect that either just at full extension. Hope that makes sense.
disconnecting front or rear sway bars is only safe when traveling at low speeds. In vehicles with front and rear independent suspensions, the cv axles are affected by lifting and lowering springs, spring spacers, and disconnected sway bars. When cv axles operate outside of their design angles, they can wear out faster ( busted cv boots) or even completely fail/break. On a solid axle suspension (front, rear) with a disconnected sway bar, the suspension will have more suspension travel, this increased suspension travel might have a slight or extreme effect on propeller shaft angle, which can result in vibrations, noise, shortened life or complete failure of driveline components. The propeller shaft connect the transfer case to the differential in the solid axle.
junk yard. I frequent the junkyards in Sacramento, CA area frequently. Just picked up a bull bar off a earlier r50 pathfinder, but doesn't fit over my 03 r50 pathinder bumper
Nice, those rear coils look like they’re about to fall off. I’m used to straight rear lifting.
Coils very firmly in spring perches at full extension. Only fall out after shocks, sway bar link panhard bar removed.
Did you have to extend your brake lines? If so, what part number did you use? Thanks

Can I ask for the part number of that bilstein rear shock?

Many thanks! 👊🏽
Nice info. Whats the part number for those 30” shocks? Thank you
Bilstein 33-185569
This video shows how to make it work on a r50 pathfinder qx4

By disconnecting your rear sway bars, aren’t you putting a lot of stress on your cv axles ??

Did you need to add longer bump stops?
Yes. I used 2004-2008 rear bumpstop 4L3Z4730AA
