I dont need another coat/jacket but really loved the quilted jackets you and Sam made. I was in a thrift store on Saturday and guess what was almost the first thing i saw!? A gorgeous quilted blanket that i just had to have! Then yesterday i decided to have a look at the Tamarac jacket and it was 20% off. Well what's a girl to do? It was obviously meant to be. And my local library can now print patterns for only $4 a page. Honestly the sewing gods want me to have a that jacket!

I have jacket/fabric envy! What a pretty jacket. I made something similar last fall using a thrifted quilted blanket and a vintage 1970's pattern. I love finishing the binding with hand sewing. Do I need another quilted jacket? NO! Do I want another quilted jacket? YES! Now I'm on the search for a pretty quilted blanket. Shh don't tell my husband.
