This is what I have been wanting to do but I hesitate! Do you still love it? Do you like it better than the sofa? Any tips that you thought about afterwards? Thank you!
Yes. I love it. I’ve changed some of the decor, also bought the pad for under the mattress so it can breathe - I don’t have slides and it really makes it feel much bigger. The only issue - I have a cat the likes to sleep above my head and a dog that likes to short sheet me 😆
No, I have two bolts on the front that keep it in place. I have been thinking of adding tracks though for the wheels because it can be hard to get it to come out or back in properly.
In regards to the bed, I built? If needed it can be unscrewed/removed. It was actually easier to get to vs the jackknife that was originally there. (I've since sold that RV and purchased a travel trailer.)
It’s actually foam (usually used in outdoor furniture) Found a company in Michigan that makes what ever size you need. Ended up being perfect! (And not expensive)
My brother and I removed the couch and built the box for the bed. The mattress is 6 inches thick, purchased from Foam Factory in MI. They were wonderful. Even called to confirm what I was using it for. If you can would recommend using slats for base. It’s something I would change to if I did it over. Very comfortable though!
I love how you created the under the bed drawer! And the chalkboard pain on the fridge is genius!
Thanks! I think I’m going to paint the base of the bed black. The grey I had was too blueish in tint.

I love the box storage with wheels. Does it move around while traveling?

@@awanderingpalette I would recommend the tracks. You could add a lid to the top and make an “ottoman” for extra comfort?
So, what do ya do if you have any plumbing issue on that water tank?

@@awanderingpalette thanks for your answer 😊
What is your mattress made from?

@@awanderingpalette I have very same issue in my class B+. Please share with me who made your bed. Is it comfortable, how thick, memory foam?
