How much of difference does shaft weight actually make? I ask because I have a 75g Hazrdus Smoke Stiff on my F9 now. I’m pretty consistently around 270-280, I touch 300 a few times per round when I get in a groove and my confidence is high. But I still feel like the drivers a little heavy. I’ve been eye balling a 60g Hazrdus hulk model. But would like to hear opinions before I pull the trigger...
hey Derek, lots of variables here buddy! Swing tempo, transition, launch conditions, aims for the build. for me personally, i have found i will go slightly down in swing speed with a heavier shaft, but retain the same distance due to smash factor, spin numbers etc! You really do need to get some numbers and see what works best across the board, this shaft is legit thats what i can confirm!

F = m x a. If you can swing a heavier shaft faster, it's going to put more force into the ball. That's where the difference is. You need to swing a lighter shaft faster to match the same force output. So after that, you just need to see if the timing is right for your swing.
What shaft would you compare to ?
Hey Mark, i've always used Diamana white/d+ profile and the flight is relatively similar but dispersion for me is way better with the HZRDUS. Stiffer in the butt and just allows me to tee it up and let it fly! Super Solid!
GOLFWOD is it similar to a Tensei Pro orange as far of the weight in the handle
@@macsk3 not really, it is super firm in the butt section but not counter balanced - very even profile throughout.
Any update on the Hulk shaft?
