@@blackjack23able WWE just has multiple teams working on merchandise, marketing, dedicated writing teams for specific shows and wrestlers, an exceptional production team. I just hope Tony isn't going to get cold feet and pull out of AEW, I do feel like he could use some help in the writing department with storylines, and the show could use some better production efforts. Just compare AEW from 2019 and 2021 (20 of course doesn't count) and compare the opening video package, the packed arena, and the flow of the show to the show today and its night and day different. A monopoly isn't where we need to go again. I do think Tony should have bought TNA AND ROH and merged them. Especially for the tape libraries to bolster a streaming deal even more with combined 40 years worth of tapes and to help build rivalries between wrestlers and to help bolster the roster with more known names for their different shows. Then a partnership with NJPW to do combined shows like they have done and to also use their tape library onto a streaming platform. Now it looks like TNA is eventually going to be bought out by WWE. With all of the wrestling legends & hater fans making a living off AEW hate as well as Tk's Stubbornness , to not give somebody else to pin. I don't see anything changing for them anytime soon. The numbers are way down, their doing smaller Arenas but TK won't pivot...& if he finally does it will probably be too late. If I were him, I'd bring in somebody like Vince Russo & focus on over the top story telling, I still think TK could be a good match maker but I'd like to see Vince Russo's story telling with a Combination of TK's match making, that way you could get the kind of Storytelling that locks Casual fans in but you get the kind of banger matches that the niche wrestling Audience likes. WWE currently is just a shinier version of AEW with better production. Gone are the days Of epic storytelling and character development but because it's WWE they get a pass. Noseman is a matchmaker much like TK & they don't focus on stories either. We are heading for another decade or more of total monopoly in this industry and we all know how that played out.
This is all true but I say let the industry burn. When AEW's gone they'll be nothing else for WWE fantics or haters to talk about. Because if the WWE was actually any good., They wouldn't have time to talk about AEW...
@@blackjack23able WWE just has multiple teams working on merchandise, marketing, dedicated writing teams for specific shows and wrestlers, an exceptional production team. Every show oozes glitz and glamor and looks extremely professional.
Its very hard to compete with this, and WWE's 50 year history, tape library, and its media reach outside of it self.
PS/ Sorry for the long rant lol :P
@@Fezzy976 Excellent synopsis, Unfortunately I just think AEW's public perception is too far gone. Look how long they've Dependend on The Bloodline storyline...It has completely jumped the shark because they have nowhere else to go with it. Prime Vince Mcmahon would never agree with how the current WWE is being booked.
@@blackjack23able Nah please no Russo lol. I'd rather bring in someone like Bubba Ray, Raven or Scott D'amore. All three have good minds when it comes to stories and pacing of said stories. Couple this with TK's excellent PPV booking and I think you have a winner. Russo was of his time, that sort of booking won't work today the last thing we need is abortion story lines and digging up someones dead family member lol.
I think ALL IN TEXAS will be the answer to if AEW continues going forward. If this event is a botch or has low sales then I can see WBD and maybe Max pulling out of deals or renegotiating the deal there must be some kind of clause in the deal that allows them to do so at some point.
Now i am hearing their Australian debut has some controversy... they seriously cant catch a break every event has something.... going to check out the news now.
@Fezzy976 Yeah I feel you, I just think at this point they have nothing else to lose...plus ALL IN TEXAS is gonna have Saturday Night's Main Event as it's competition. Smh
