I Love your videos. I just discovered them. I went to see Elvis in Charlotte NC i believe 75 or 76 at what we called the old coliseum. It was my very first concert. I could have sworn he looked at me dead in the eyes. At that moment I could not hear anything, I felt very excited but felt fainty,,,,,and everything was in slow motion. I must have been 17 or 18 years old. I have never experienced that feeling again with anyone. It was exciting, scary, and just extraordinary....I could not believe I felt that way physically. I could not scream, speak or make a sound. Just stared so deeply into his eyes....

Great detective work, it is amazing what you can turn up when n0t actually looking for it. Love the photos of Elvis with his black musician friends, probably without realising it he was such a huge influence on the civil rights of the time. Elvis was just Elvis without prejudice and a friend to all.

I just watched a documentary about Emmett Till yesterday. I never got the chance to see Elvis in concert, but I did get to see BB king at a car show in Atlanta GA. back in the 80's. Thank you for putting Ernest Withers name in the Elvis domain many of us will have seen those photos and not known who took them. Without him a lot of history would not have been captured. There is a debate in other circles about whether he was a hero or villain because of the FBI informant claims but to me he is a hero for documenting history that otherwise would have gone unseen pictures are more powerful than words. Bless you Ashley

@@ashleysadventures Since Barbra Hearn`s home in the 50`s is mentioned in this video I will add something. Batbra is a lovely woman .I can’t forget Barbra Hearn’s last conversation with Elvis after he come home from the army. Barbra and Elvis was sitting in the basement and had a running commentary going on about theire favorite singers and songs all , and Barbra had always liked Peggy Lee and she said to Elvis Peggy Lee was her favorite female singer and Elvis said well Patty Page was so much better and they was go on and on and they always had. So when they was sitting down there in the basement with friends and all was agree with him. Elvis said something about Patti page and then he stopped Barbra grinned and looked at her and he said yes peggy lee was much better and more talented then bla bla and Elvis laughed to Barbra and said I can always depend on Barbra for a good argument then went back to everybody so saying yes yes yes agreeing with everything he said . it’s hard for us to belive, but Barbra said it really got just boring and it was kind of sad for her, she just got up and left without saying anything and she went upstairs to call her mum to pick her up. Then Elvis came upstairs and ask what you are doing and Barbra said well quite frankly I’m not just haveing a good time and Elvis looked at her and strange and said well I’m not either and Barbra said to him. Well you can do somthing about it! I think that was a good advise to Elvis of a young woman. God bless her ⚡🙏
