i used to synch carbs 1 and 2, the screw in the middle of carbs 1 and 2. then synch 3 and 4 in their setting screw. then synch 1 & 2 to 3 & 4 using the middle screw, near the speed screw

intake is 0.11mm - 0.20mm.
exhaust is 0.21mm - 0.30mm

Hi shopman. I have an xjr400 but it is not running well. I am just wondering what order do the cylinders follow. Is it 1 2 3 4 from left to right??
yes sir, sitting on the bike and count from left to right.

And also which cylinder is master? no 2?
i usually set 2 turns out in all bikes then i check the spark plugs for the result. from there, i adjust the settings as needed.
