Lufthansa board, not only the ceo deserves a handshake with no checks.
Service is terrible, staff overpaid, bonus outrageous, company bankrupted and rescued by taxpayers.
Board behave as if they were an investment banking and should actually be trialed.

The best airline in this group is AUSTRIAN but C. Spohr don't like it. If you give the Austrian the chance to grow you will see what happens....

it is true, that austrian hasn't got much attention for quite a while. the official reason was, that of the three big LHG airlines, Austrian was the least profitiable for a few years, but things have changed. now swiss and austrian started to become profitable then LH, which is why Austrian got new narrowbodies like a320 neo's, of which 5 and a new 787 long haul fleet, of which 2 planes are already in the air.

Overpriced, bad customer service, unflexible conditions

Are you joking? Lufthansa has got great customer service, crews are excellent, refunds are paid within a week or less and in case of cancellations, natural disasters they are top notch, caring and helpful.

overpriced; well partially yes if you are referring to the most widely spread business class and first class product and compare it to other asian, or big gulf airlines. if you talk about eco and prem eco, there is actually many people who say for the price you do get a decent product, even famous airline vlogers. this situation will change over the course of the next 2 years and although the new premium product of LH and Swiss has its flaws, it's a huge step up and will leave most people happy with the on board experience.
bad customer service; well, the phone service can be bad if you get connected to inexperienced peoeple, which we had a lot of between 2020 and 2023 (yes I am part of the an lh service team), but customers keep confirming that it got way better over the course of 2023/24. what can still be a hustle is contacting customer relations due to the long waiting times, so I agree, this is still an issue.
unflexible conditions; that is highly dependend on the situation. for instance, if you have an economy light ticket, that you've booked shortly before departure, you often have a quite pricy ticket that is not flexible at all, but quite a few european airlines offer that and this system is not new. in this case you have to decide yourself whether the saving is worth the lack of flexibility, because you can have that if you choose to (just looked up FRA-JFK 2 days ahead and the difference between eco light and full flex are 261EUR and you also have two other fare variants for less in between).
