I’ve been a GT fan since it came out, never would I have ever thought Forza could even compete with it. But in Forza Motorsport 2 they allowed engine swaps, while the GT equivalent out at the time had most of the cars sounding the same. A generic organ type of sound. Hard to explain it. I remember how accurate Forza had the VTEC crossover audio. GT took ages to catch up. That was back in 2007 The auto headlights in the tunnels/dark were done by test drive unlimited on Xbox 360 The dirt on the tyres was done as far back as Sega Rally 2 I think. The headlights though… 😍 Gran Turismos definitely look amazing as explained in the video, but all other details are commonplace in games like Assetto Corsa. Still, Gran Turismo is the originator so it’s still good to have a peek at things like this. Vids good but nothing insane, I guess I got baited

Pit stops have one glaring problem. The pit stops of your competitors, shows the tire they are taking off, rather than the tire they are putting on. Ex. Dry versuses wets. When you stop, you get the right tire, but the video of the stop shows them putting on the same type you had rather than what you chose. Again, wets versuses dry.
If you look at the leader board during the race, you can see when they stop, but the tire they show, is the one coming off, not the new tire going on. During the next race when it starts to rain, watch them go in. It will show dry tires even though you know they chose wets. On their next stop you will see the wets come off. Exactly backwards
Headlights turning on in tunnels, engine swaps changing the engine sound and upgrading the exhaust making the exhaust sound different are hardly "insane" details.
I’d like to say that I think the tire smoke isn’t great. It isn’t great compared to others like GT5, GT6, GT Sport. So I’m comparing to actual GT games, not any other brand or whatever. I really enjoy the replays, and nothing can make my lousy driving look good, like a GT replay. So when I work fairly hard for 25,000 credits in a drift trial at Tsuka, and watch my replay with little to no tire smoke, I’m disappointed. Some have defended Kaz’s move to this as it’s more real life. I’d argue that all day and night. If that’s remotely close to being fact, then why as soon as I leave the track and hit the grass, then the tires start smoking, and yes even coming out from under the fenders. Gran Turismo got a million thinks right. But cutting down on tire smoke seems like an odd thing to take out of the game. “ Smoking the tires “ is a saying. Not just screaching the tires. I would have apreciated it at lot more if in my rear view mirror it showed the actual build up and accumulation of smoke. The rear view mirror is an amazing example of team Kaz’s attention to detail. Except for tire smoke. I could list at least 15 times that the tire smoke isn’t even close to real life. And I know this because I’m old, and I’ve done it. When and where I grew up, leaving the longest burnt rubber tracks on our hwy was like a right to passage. I can comment on this because I’ve done it. People commenting on any social media should have real world experience on the said topic, not just watching other TH-cam videos, or game playing, or whatever. From start to finish, this comment is only my opinion.
As much as I like how detailed is this game, I still kinda don't like how they use cinematic pit stop, instead of real time pitstop. In normal race, or online races, it's kinda looks goofy, seeing my opponent plopped outta nowhere. Kinda shame, considering previous gen GT done something like real time pitstop And also catch up race on single player. I'm just tired with that excessive format of race, to think GT praise realism, except their race format
Most of these details should not be somethimg we are amazed by. In 2024, they should be the standard for racing games. The problem is we have games like fm8 compared to which gt7 is a masterpiece.
Fm 23 is garbage, not a masterpiece in anyway, you cant change exhausts in fm either like in gt7, in the simcade space gt7 is the only one that does it, attention to detail when it comes to the cars is unmatched by any other game, gt7 also has full vr support witch forza still dosent have, gt7 offer a lot that other racing games are not doing, fm 23 was released almost 2 years after gt7 and it has a lot less attention to detail for the cars campared to gt7, just wait for gt8 and pd will just build on it even more.
@@AFR1i nobody is doing what gt7 does with like the details on exhaust, every time you upgrade the exhausts changes visually. No other sim or simcade title has this. Upgrade parts changes the sounds only fh5 does this as well. Ac does neither of those 2 features. Full vr support for gt7 is also a revolution on console.
Love this game
crazy that ac also has most of these
No it does not ac losers just get ready made car models lol

I really love Gran Turismo, this sim is must be available on PC, because many simracers have a good cockpits and there are buildet on PC platform. I ready to buy this game, but i have no reason to buy a console
What are these out of the city tracks that you were driving on?? 😳
I hope rockstar sees this
Kool set 😎 up
I do not get tire smoke on mine?
Pit stops have one glaring problem. The pit stops of your competitors, shows the tire they are taking off, rather than the tire they are putting on. Ex. Dry versuses wets. When you stop, you get the right tire, but the video of the stop shows them putting on the same type you had rather than what you chose. Again, wets versuses dry.
That's true for your own pit stop as you can't see the other cars pit in the first place. Have you even played GT7? 🤔
If you look at the leader board during the race, you can see when they stop, but the tire they show, is the one coming off, not the new tire going on. During the next race when it starts to rain, watch them go in. It will show dry tires even though you know they chose wets. On their next stop you will see the wets come off. Exactly backwards
This why Iove gt7 a lot because is more realistic then forza Horizon 5 and Motorsport 8
Forza 4 was the top of the mountain for me
Horizon isn't trying to be realistic it's clearly labeled a arcade racer 😂
Wut about Driveclub my guy?
I think it can even surpasses GT7 in terms of details
I think u should make a vid on the game (if you had the game 😂😂😂)
If you manage to miss these 10 details, _that_ would be insane.
Yes, so realistic it tricks gamers into believing they can drive.
あとは走行距離計が機能していることですかね
Headlights turning on in tunnels, engine swaps changing the engine sound and upgrading the exhaust making the exhaust sound different are hardly "insane" details.
Wish it came for PC too. I don't want to buy a playstation for a single game
This game needs to come to pc.
I tried viewing yet my phone continuously locked adds keep popping up 😭😢😂 these ideas the Internet is hell on earth
As much as I like how detailed is this game, I still kinda don't like how they use cinematic pit stop, instead of real time pitstop. In normal race, or online races, it's kinda looks goofy, seeing my opponent plopped outta nowhere. Kinda shame, considering previous gen GT done something like real time pitstop
And also catch up race on single player.
Gt7 is much more of a masterpiece than fm 23,
@@andreasmoller9798 i meant gt7 is a masterpiece compared to forza. Forza is a joke.
However, the fact that in 2024 the only simcade that can change exhausts is gt7 shows how much racing games have stagnated (not gt7, other racing games and the whole genre)
@@rickrolled7930we need more competetion for sure.

Is this game still 60 FPS? If so, what the hell is their problem?
it's got 120hz and 120fps support bro what you on
