Hey crisis, sorry this has nothing to do with the video, i tried asa a while ago and my 2070 couldn't run it well enough, now a year later i am upgrading my pc and planning on getting a 7900 xtx (amd gpu). So here is the question, can that do frame generation asa, i saw something about editing th ini files to allow amd frame gen, but idk, i need tonknow before i purchase. If anyone is reading this and knows pls reply. Im about to dump 900 on a gpu and i need to know
Edit: i have NOT kept up with asa news since i just couldnt run the game well enough to justify moving from ase. Thats why im asking cause google searches havnt given me anything on this topic. Perhaps a reddit post would but i hate dealing with reddit no one ever responds to my posts.
I have a 7900xtx and it runs ark pretty well with frame gen. Averaging about 80 fps, but can occasionally dip down to the 40s and even rarer the 2020s in high foliage/chaos environments
*Notably, 80 fps on 4k epic settings
I have that same GPU I do have the option in the amd software to turn on "AMD Fluid Motion Frames 2" which utilizes frame generation didn't really notice any big jump in fps but that might of been because i didn't mess with the ini files to allow it but im usually hanging around 100-120 on high-epic on the center.
Thx guys, I plan to play on 1440 p res and I want min high settings, maybe epic. I love ark gameplay, im playing ase for emersive otherworldly graphics.

@Middy666 I also don't know how to permanently turn of volumetric clouds and fog and I'm sick of constantly typing that in to console commands when i play. Do I past it into ini files?
I have yet to buy ASA.....I still play ASE as of now since I'm waiting on more updates because I have seen a lot of things still going on sadly but I still love your videos and all the updates you put out!
I'm letting you know now if u don't get it now you'll get the same feeling from ase to asa but if you get asa now u will get that new game feeling every map that drops again. Coming from an ark player that no lifed in highschool 30k hours
