My wife and I really like this floor plan and the interior colors. We thought we found our rv until we found out about the frame being welded on just one side. I can’t imagine Winnebago’s holding up for very long being built like that. Thanks for pointing that out.
I’ve looked at so many RVs and then unimpressed. If I didn’t already have an RV that I’m satisfied with, I would want this one! Very nice.

Absolutely love everything about this trailer. Great use of the space, love the colors in there. The black finishes really make it more modern. Love the kitchen and that it has a king bed!! Great job Winnebago!

I wouldn’t recommend towing with a half ton. The length alone would should deter towing with a half ton, IMO.
You are 100% correct it can be done but would be very dangerous to tow with a half ton as it would be right at the limits of most half tons 👍🏽
Great floor plan and contemporary decor . Flush mount windows and a rear fold down bumper tray would make it perfect .

I really like this layout, I love that there is no dinette in it. Just seems that whenever we eat we are outside and don’t use the dinette we have. To me this layout is really well thought out.
If I were in the market for a TT this one would be #1 on my list. Love the layout.
Looks very nice. I wish you would show us the sofa bed pulled out (and when there are convertible dinettes into beds). It would be useful to see the anoint of room they take up.
I really wish it had washer dryer hook-ups in that bedroom closet. That's the only thing this unit could possibly be missing.
That plug was for a clock! Great pantry, excellent use of space, behind the fireplace too! Over all great trailer!!!!
Hi Adriana! The ash and warm colors make a positive contrast which gives a comforting pop to your brain. I love it. It's too long for us to get through mountain passes safely. Is there anything similar up to 25 feet including hitch? I love the kitchen size! She's a beauty!
Replace the small couch in the slide out with a desk and you have the perfect office with a view!!

❤sitting in our 2022 rl2730 voyage watching your video! This is our 5th trailer and it's our favorite. Great quality, so much space and just a fun trailer. We love ours especially for the seating space. Ours has cabinets above the bed.

Oh get out here, that sliding pantry is nice. I think I like it better than a traditional door!
The sliding pantry is going to last a whole lot longer that if it was on a hinge.
Love the trailer. wonder about the welding on the framing. something I would definitely address for strength. Love the colors and would probably want a different backsplash. All good!
Rv companies should make outdoor speakers an option and not come with them. If you want them then order them. I have been camping for 40+ years and think I have only used them maybe 2 times. Last camper we had they were Jensen speakers and I never used them, the one time I tried they never worked. We use a Bose blue tooth speaker. All the blogs and comments you read Rver’s have either had issues with their speakers or don’t use them. Same goes for the sound bar inside. They are not well made. I changed my soundbar to a Bose. Save the consumer some money.

Please, if you’ve seen 10 RV’s then you have seen them all. There’s only so much you can do with an RV then they all look the same! How you set yourself apart is quality of materials and craftsmanship.
I'd love to see your take on smaller RV's like Geo/e-Pro 19FD or A-Liner Ascape ST. I toured the Adventurer/Scout factory recently. They make a cool little camper that will fit on a Maverick. I'm just not into big rigs.

Welding only one side of the joints makes the joint act like a hinged-joint instead of a rigid joint. That will crack your welds over time if there is a lot of movement.
They are opposed single welds and they are on L brackets and if you pay attention to layout, all they do is cross support the mattress in the bedroom. If you break them, you may ask what you are doing in bed?
Like everything about it except the bedroom, foe that kind of money it should have a wardrobe slide. That wouldn't add much weight since you really need to use a 3/4 ton anyway. Thanks
Nice trailer but would definitely do a 3 quarter ton to pull safely with the payload. Plus a much more enjoyable ride.
Is there a other winabago trailer with washer dryers and opposing slides and slide in bed room
Wow guys! I didnt know you guys did travel trailers, just saw the toy haulers. This is a real option for us. Ill text Scott and try to come look at this. I was looking for a King sized bed I could pull beind my 1500. Love it, and great job

Why put side valances to stop side light bleed in the main room, and not in the bedroom where you need it the most? Speaking as an Alaskan who camps in the summer, this would be much appreciated.

The high plug is also good for a plug in air freshener and small night light.
love the floor plan , wish there were little tables for the recliners so incase there are more than 2 people eating they could have a spot for a plate. but so glad there isnt a dinette , this is such a good layout and look it has definitely put Winnebago back on my radar as an rv I might want to get. Hmm went to the winnebago website and didnt see any others that had the great colors in it :( hope they update stuff soon.
You can get twin 30 pound tanks on any trailer this size 🙄

5th wheels have the best floor plans & it seems they are using those ideas in these now. Much better layout!
Our 2022 Winnebago Minnie FLX 2108 has a charging pad. I think they started adding them to their trailers (even the small ones) in 2022 models.

The hidden pantry was different but try constantly opening it when someone is watching TV. Also, where does one eat? Could have made one of the reclining areas a dining area. The one side welding was also unusual. I've been RVing for 15 years and you want everything to be bolted, welded , tied together so nothing rolls, jiggles or falls off while on the road. Upgraded our RV with a Grand Design XLS and so happy with it's built, neutral colors, heated recliners with massage and abundance of storage for a 26 ft trailer.
I would rather the television be in the corner with a semi-circular couch facing it than right next to the kitchen. I think this is also true of most RV's.
I would prefer all of the cabinets all be the lighter color. The pantry sliding door is OK, but I think I'd rather have it swing out and have the side tables on either side of the sofa the same size. I love the idea of an auxiliary table but I think it should be bigger. The convection microwave is a big plus so I'd have ditched the oven under the stove for more storage.
For a small travel trailer, this is a nice model, and with an upgraded mattress, the folks who use this will have a great experience. It's very nice.
Hay guys, it's funny I like the trailer 27' but the constitution is not as good as it should be for a $75000 price tag... even if you cut the price down to $40,000 it still wouldn't be as good as a Rockwood or Jayco... Your thoughs. The Banks boys..

I like the RV. What is consider a modern 1/2 ton? I have 2019 F150 3.5 ecoboost, max tow package (13k), 3.55 axle ratio and 1870 payload. Does this qualify as modern 1/2 ton?
Yes, that's quite a payload on a 1/2 ton.

Would be perfect if it had a washer dryer hookup in the shower had retractable doors instead of glass. Your wife had a nice concept on some of the videos by bringing a flashlight but I also think you guys need to bring a tape measure for the height exactly without being in the skylight

The welds on only one side of the tubes is a no-go for me. Didn’t even need to watch past that.
I see the comments about not towing this with a half ton and I would have no trouble towing this trailer based on the tongue weights described. You can easily get 2000 pound payload packages with 12k towing capacity.
As soon as I saw that, it was not welded on both sides that was enough for me to go onto a different trailer
I think the word your wife is looking for, is "classy" interior. Not overdone, simple, less is always more. Love the sliding pantry door behind the tv. Why could I see lights above that area, as if there was something in behind? I was expecting you to say there was a bunk set up in behind? If I could see lights, does that mean it is not air tight?
I’d rather lose an end table and gain a hidden huge pantry! That is ingenious!

Wait, no access to the door shade when the door is closed due to the screen door blocking it? How do you open the shade on the door with the door closed?
I used to be a designer for Winnebago, and know the quality of their products are superior to most manufactures. They make all of the products that go in their trailers, with the exception of the stoves, refrigerators and heaters/AC units. If you noticed, the cabinetry all solid wood doors, not particleboard. I was surprised when you pointed out that the aluminum frame ends were only welded on one side. Can't tell you why they did that. Would be a good question to ask Winnebago.
Those single-side-welded aluminum frame members were the ones under the bed (the “roof” of the pass-through storage area, so probably not supporting as much weight as floor “joist” members. Are all of the trailer’s floor members welded only on one side?
Isn't that frame just for the bed supports? Is there more structural integrity supported by that frame that would need dual welds?
That’s awesome trailer. May have just beat out ORV. Definitely better than Grandesign Jayco. Well done Winnebago. Now on to research build. Cosmetics are great. But build is very critical.
I am surprised they didn’t put the pantry on a piano hinge like they do in another one that has the same hidden pantry.
I have a hidden pantry like the one you are describing I had someone in our park looking at trying to help me remove the TV (I am trying to upgrade) I opened the door to show him that there is no way to access the back of the TV and I thought he was so freaked out about the pantry
On a side note, if anyone knows how I can remove the TV from the mount on a Forest River Impression 290VB, I'm all ears They have literally screwed it in to the mount Once I get it off, I'm swapping out the TV mount
The sliding door pantry is cool, but people watching TV might get tired of me opening and closing the pantry. Very nice space though.
Is there a travel trailer that's about 38' long w/bunk room and a office area.
One thing you really need to show is the trailer in road or travel mode. I suspect that with the slides in, you cannot access the rear of the trailer, especially the refrigerator. Good news is the bathroom and bedroom are accessible.
As for towing, too many people are going to assume they have THE F-150 that can tow this and don’t have a clue about payload. 1000 lbs tongue weight is a big chunk of payload. This is really a 3/4 ton trailer.
Thanks for pointing out the single sided welds. That is very disappointing. I really like this floor plan, and would be very interested in purchasing this model, but the weld issue makes it a no-go. Very disappointed in Winnebago. My question is, is that a one-off result of a lazy welder, or is it a company standard?
The exterior graphics isn't a wood grain it's a topo map design.
The lack of critical welding raises serious questions about attention to detail, quality and perhaps longevity. A mig weld on the other side of the frame is easy and inexpensive.
I love it! I’m about 2 years from retirement & am seriously considering buying an RV to travel the country. This size and style seems perfect for me!
Only welding one side of the aluminum frame makes me wonder where else they cheaped out in construction. It looks pretty nice on the inside, but not nice enough for that price point.

For me the shower seems the best, most rv showers are horrible and I'm only 5'10".

Thanks for showing! One thing I believe is that women are not interested in the outside unless they like the inside. I would show the inside first. Storage above everywhere it will go and dump the tan cabinets. Ugly! Use White or gray! Can you please tell me How many people can it sleep?
If they are going to single weld those supports they should’ve done the weld horizontal on the bottom instead of vertical on the side very poorly done especially for the price point! It’s a shame because structure on an RV should be of the upmost importance! Design and layout was great.

Maybe a bad weld. A good weld will be stronger than the material being welded.
No W/D hookup is a disappointment in an otherwise nice trailer.
