I was literally adding milk to my morning coffee when I looked up and saw “no milk shaming”. Never hear it from me! I’m loving the shape and style of this Bass. Cheers.
I love it brother. Green looks great on this guitar. I'm the same if left on my own every guitar I build will be blue. I have to make myself change! I really love the faceted neck man. Really killer job. ✌️
Oh man, I think I love every single thing about this little bass. Both body and neck shape look fresh, light and very modern. On top of that your staining seems to be enhancing that feel. Now I, normally like my basses full scale, heavy as cow and five string. Preferably black. Dark black or Darker black. Somehow I really like what you did here. Cool thing man.
Now Seán, that is a PROPER tea mug! Mine were always like that during my periods of being a single bloke, but my wife won’t have it… one mug and it’s in the bloody washing up.. 😢 By the way - Nice bass, don’t think I could handle the short scale or neck profile though…
I really like the way your guitar is turning out. I do like the colors and with the Green and natural colors of the wood on front and back. I think the only thing I would have done differently would have been to have routed in a wiring channel before gluing on the top. Drilling the hole between the pickup cavity and the control cavity would made me a nervous wreck. The figure on the birds eye maple looks stunning and has a 3D effect after you sprayed it. Looking forward to seeing this guitar finished. Great. Blue is my favorite color but I do like green as well.

Wow, that bird's eye in that neck went crazy when the finish went on!
That colour is INCREDIBLE
My favourite colour is of course mango. 😉
Greetings from Germany to the whole Crimson team. 👍
Is your tea even hot? I know how you make yours! Can’t wait to see the bass finished :)
That green is beautiful

The guitar looks great Sean. You've put some good video on your channel. Much appreciated, thanks.
Looking good!! I'm not a massive green fan, but when done well it's very nice.

Since the underlying layers left a faint black-and-blue shading, is this called Bruised Green?
I just couldn't resist.

beautiful work, can't wait to see it finished!
I really like the color and I would love to try playing a neck with that carve.
Thanks, I've found it to be such a polarising colour, personally! The carve is really nice, I'm glad I did it for sure

Coming along very nicely BTW!
Sean. Guitar is stunning. Can you explain more why the aquamarine and black stains were applied. Is it just to bring out the grain?
How much did you have to sand the bevels when the stain was bleeding over the bevel?
No one has said anything, but we're all silently judging you for milk after tea. The bass is looking good, sir.
Mmmm... mint chocolate chip ice cream...
Do you think it is possible to stain an instrument with tea? It would be the ultimate English touch for an instrument of yours 😁
Did you poop a little like me when you saw the drill bit exit in the pickup cavity, that was close!
the bass is beautiful,
but I thought you were going to leave the natural color of the wood, I think it would have been better.
😅 promosm

And who are you, his lawyer?
He is his son, don’t worry
The stain ruined the project. Natural wood tones are always better than man made colors.
An thus on the 14th Day The Hallas spake and let it be known no one must deviate from his specified and boring path through life.
That stain wasn’t made by man.
It was made by the luthier god Ben Crowe
Missed you 😘😘
