    @Scarecrow545 Go to my blog and check out my articles on pistol squats and shrimp squats. They take lots of practice so don't feel bad if you don't get it for a while.

    @macross5000 There's two kinds of one legged squats in this video. The one with the leg in front is called a pistol squat. The one with the leg tucked in back is called a shrimp squat. I have tutorials for both - search for 'em!

    @rubberritchie I used to do a lot of weight training but in the last year I've probably only lifted about 5 or 6 times. It's pretty much all bodyweight for me these days.

    @rubberritchie I dropped some weight when I switched to this style of training, but I also changed my diet at the same time, and I believe that has more to do with it. I know some big dudes who only life their bodyweight.

      What? The heart was pumping like crazy after the second set of exercises. That will give anyone a dizzy euphoric feeling. And most people at the park who see me doing just one of these at ten reps always look astonished, then try it themselves and they just cant.
      He did distribute them in a way not to use the same muscles but I know he was feeling his head spinning from the heart pumping.

    Adam Raw does them like that. He also does weighted ones with his knees behind his toes. A good way to avoid it is to do them in front of a wall or something. You can fuck up your knees simply doing lunges with no weights knees past the toes.

  • @f4phantom2500
    @f4phantom2500 12 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    this is more of a test than a regular workout...i mean these are all great exercises, but you don't need 3 leg exercises and 4 pulling exercises in one workout. personally, i do pistol squats and core exercises (mainly L seats, back bridges are great too) at work and upper body pushing and pulling exercises at home. My regular pull exercise is pull ups of various grips, sometimes with L, my regular push is the hip push up, and I am improving my muscle ups and handstand push ups to replace them.

  • @nunh
    @nunh 13 ปีที่แล้ว +1

  • @phorse
    @phorse 12 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    You're in awesome shape man!

  • @f4phantom2500
    @f4phantom2500 12 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    but, it also depends on your goals. i'm training for absolute strength. if you just are just trying to get your heart rate up while still getting in a reasonable strength workout, this is great. of course, if you can get past the 10 muscle ups, everything else in this routine should be easy as pie.

  • @KroxiGore07
    @KroxiGore07 12 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    You can get pull-up bars to install in your door-frame. You can do everyone of these exercises with one of them except for the muscle-up. Okay, for these australian pull-up thingys, you would need a pull-up bar that you can lower, but it does work! (I've got two different pull-up bars myself, so I know ;-) )

    • @jonathandiosa5739
      @jonathandiosa5739 6 ปีที่แล้ว

  • @zstephen1

    do you only do calisthenic workouts or do you hit the gym too? i wish i could get a chest as developed as yours from push ups - no homo

    • @jonathandiosa5739
      @jonathandiosa5739 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      100 pushups a day will get you that. Do them in 5 to 8 minutes. But do different pushups like regular, incline, decline, out to the side hands and diamond. Or you can even practice planche pushups. Pseudo pushups are the hardest along with handstandpushups.

    dips and pull ups
    Not those normal shitty dips you see though- get your hand, to touch your arm pit, also, bodyweight rows (rotate yourself on a pull up bar so back is paralell to ground, and do pull ups)
    If you can't do them, then work towards them- as they are easier than muscle ups.

    • @jonathandiosa5739
      @jonathandiosa5739 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I love bodyweight rows. I call them inverted rows though. Am I wrong? They are for arms and back.
