    This was great! What if you want to Reno some of your home but also add an ADU so you and the pets can be there in the Reno time?? Is there an agent that can handle all these 203k Reno stuff for those with a home already?

    The only thing I don't understand is if you already have a fairly low mortgage rate you are paying on the purchase price of a home you've lived in for a year, can you still keep that rate on that portion of the house and then just get an FHA 30K standard only on the cost of the addition/renovation, or must it all be combined under the new FHA which will potentially lose the original lower mortgage rate you are paying on the purchase price?

      When you refi, and u only have one loan on the home, then yes- u will have a new interest rate according to the terms that you and your lender agree too. It’s always best to talk to your lender. All lenders are different… best wishes on your home renovations :)

      Actually yes! You need a lender who specializes in renovation loans.

    I know some mexicans who could build a nice kitchen and bathroom for 40k in cali 😅
