Hello, The motor is mounted on a piece of aluminum profile matching the size between the frame sides (about an inch) the motor is mounted upside down with the shaft actually protruding inside the mount. The original clutch is mounted on the bottom of the motor that featured a very convenient flange (only needs to be a bit sanded to match) now the swap between electro and nitro takes but a minute, you remove the motor mount with the motor on it (and as you can see the bec as well) and use nitro.
I just realized your using the clutch!!! Ingenious.
Hello,

How is the motor mounted ?
If i understand you correctly the clutch is mounted directly to the body of the motor (aluminum) on the bottom ?
Hey good job....I've been thinking of doing this with mine but need a motor mount! Did you make yours? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Sorry dude, I gave this chopper away long time ago, I am flying T-rex 700 now, I will ask the new owner, maybe he can take some.
