Nice videos helped alot..thanks
what if the anhydride is unsymmetrical?should we check stability of attacking carbocation or the one which forms when AlCl3 forms complex?
Same doubt
We will take that sid which has less hindrance
Sir, FC alkylation / acylation can not be given by ANY deactivating group.
is it CORRECT OR NOT?
Also, what will happen in the case of chlorine?
Vatsal Mavani correct
Bro didn't got any reply 😢
From past 6 years
Excellent explanation sir👌🏻
benzenamine gives acylation with ethanoic anhydride by forming n-phenylethanamide or acetanilide ( but sir u told in video that aniline dont give acylation) plz clarify it
That is acetylation reaction. In that we don't use Anhydous AlCl3 as catalyst.
k thanks sir.
Waa sir mst explanation
Sundarrr pdhaya ❤
Sir one question agar acid anhydride par dono side alag alag group hai ....
Toh benzene par konsa group place karna hai.....???.
Sir please make a video on high level questions of intramolecular fridal craft rxns.
Sir
Apne kaha ki electrophile resonance stabilized hota hai is rxn mechanism me but sir apne less stability wala electrophile kyun use kiya.apko more stabilty wala use krna chaiyeh tha jisme oxygen pr +ive charge tha kyunki
Acc to resonance stabilty rule if stricture have more pi bond then that structure will be more stable than other.and in that structure which have +ive charge on oxygen atom will be more stable due to more no of pi bond as compared to that structure which have +ive charge on carbon atom.
Sivam Kumar because reaction ka naam acylation hai, hme acyl group hi substiture karna hai, and positive charge on O is unstable as compared to positive chrge on C, bcause O is very electronegative. You are mixing up the priority of stability.
Good Lecture.
Very nice explanation
In case of aniline, as the lone pair of electrons are involved in resonance how can it donate them to Al?
reason mila vro ?? 🙂
im not sure but them being in conjugation makes them basically equivalent of pi electrons in the ring which means they can be donated easily doesnt it
sir 2 example me apn beech wala jo oxygen hai us se hi electron pair donate krva skte thejisse O or C ke beech ka bond direct toot jayega..
Any problem
Thank u sir it helps me a lot
Glad to hear that
In acetylation rxn to form acetanilide what is the use of pyridine
Please reply
Your videos really help me a lot in studies.
Thanq sir
Best
Friedel craft acylation of anisole meh product kya banega?
sir can u send me link for ortho para directing......please reply fst
Sir doesn’t ortho position contribute to steric hindrance?? Pls ans so why is it major product
It isn't major product due to steric repulsion, para isomer is the major product
Excellent explanation
sir,does furan undergo FCR?
in example 2 how can oxygen form 3 bond. plz reply sir
Anurag Porwal positive charge hai bhai...3 bond bna lega
Octet completion is 1st priority
Are you class 2 fellow or what
Oxygen+ acts like N atom, hence three bonds
Sir ji 🙏🙏🙇
U r d best
sir plz uploading vedios for bsc level
Sir what happened when ethanoic acid react with benzene
Boss 👍💞 💞👍 👍👍
I know you boss by brother
Zuhaib zaman knows you
Sir if take Me3CCOCl then what will happen??
Sir what is phenonium ion?
Intramolecular freidal crafts acylation me positive charge satisfy kese hua.. overall positive charge conserve nahi ho raha henh..(charge conservation) can anyone please explain..!
Study organic first before making meaningless comments
Is this rxn part of aromatic compounds?
Please name the reaction in which rearrangement of carbo cation take place
all the reactions which follow sn1...
sir apka video acha hota h but kabhi bhi ap definition nhi dalte ho
What is anhydride
An acid anhydride is formed when two acid structures combine with loss of a water molecule.
Sir I still can't understand why doesn't benzene have o in the formula , IT HAS AN O IN THE MIDDLE OF ITS RING BUT THEN WHY DONT WE RESPRESENT IT.PLS HELP ME BTW I WILL GET UNDER 100 RANK THIS YEAR IN MAINS
I hope you weren't serious bro
In which college you are brother??
