El Cajon CA. Arabic produce market

  • I’m back in Sunny San Diego,pet sitting again.The couple I’m sitting for took me to a Arabic produce market for my 1st time.
    All of the produce looked real fresh and huge compared to the produce at my local grocery store.The prices were reasonable to.
    My favorite part was when the employee gave me a free hot Tanour bread to sample,
    right out of the fire oven.

    Lived in El Cajon in the early 1990s when I was a student at SDSU. It was pretty much a one-horse town from what I remember. I'm glad a new group of people are flourishing there and has made it their home.

      Hi Elan I loved my time in El Cajon spent a lot of time there pet sitting for a couple who took me to this lil grocery store ,their in baked bread was delicious and exploring the SD area was so much fun.I had a blast.

    Looks good that pizza bread looked good we use to have an Indian store like that that to me looked like it said a produce store what was inside that thing he gave you

    next time just go down to main street and see all the different stores. Mostly Iraq influenced foods so "Arabic" in a way but most Assyrian/Chaldean/Syraic tradition foods. Now with the Syrian conflict you'll Syrian food. There are differences between the cuisines...

    because it says Arabic do that means that's who they want shopping there only Arabic people . i see those stores where i live and i never enter because im not Arabic...

      Everyone is Welcome, it’s a store where Arabic people can get all their home goods from their homeland,there is lots of delicious handmade fresh foods like the bread. 🤗👋🏼

      Yeah and Arabic people don't like non arabic in their stores me and my boyfriend get stares.
