Yes the temperatures in early spring are always unpredictable.
We have often had snow in late march after the crocuses bud

The door he walked up to next to the theatre is a stairwell that goes to second floor apartments

Thanks! I love hearing about the area from someone that lives there.
Do you know what the art studio used to be(by the courthouse)? I wasn't finding anything online

      Hi!
      Thanks!
With the exception of a few months in Maryland and one year in the south, I am a life long native.
If you're on Facebook you are welcome to friend me and ask anything you like.
Now I live in a neighboring town and don't get over there due to no longer being able to drive, so I'm not sure which building the art studio is in.
Are you talking about the little building you said looks like it may have been a post office?
If so, my earliest knowledge of what it was was a tattoo parlor in the 90s or early 2000s.
I will see if I can find anything on its history

@@CrystalTwinStar I don't have Facebook. Yes, I think I said it looked like a post office at one point. I do believe I read it was a tattoo shop, but it looks like there is so much more history to the building. I may have to email the historical society.

Yes it's been around much longer than I have
      (I'm 55)
If I find anything I'll come back here and let you know.
I've always been curious about it too

My friend found this on Facebook:
"After the Civil War, as the county's population grew, so did the needs of its courthouse complex. On August 11, 1876, David D. Hashour was contracted to build a one-story brick treasurer's office to be completed in 1877. This building survives at 105 East Main Street, but is now privately owned."
After reading it I do remember learning that it was once the treasures office or something
