What a busy season we are in this week we have some new arrivals we can’t wait to share them with you.
Hi I am Mommabear2many many! Mom to 14 children 12 of my children still live here at home. We have a baby due in October! Join me in my day to day life as we prepare enough food to feed a small army! We will grow and harvest food on our homestead and do grocery hauls. Just our lives as a large family trying to live for the glory of God! Won’t you join us?

The paddock came out great! Oh those little kittens are darling. We have been getting rain the past couple of days, I harvested some lettuce,kale peas and some herbs. Hopefully can plant some seeds before the weekend. We are supposed to get more rain and we are going to Myrtle Beach this weekend for our wedding anniversary 5 years 😊 I love watching everything you all have going on

Good morning - its starting to warm up here is AZ, and I already have my garden about 50% planted, so today is a cleanup and finish planting day :) My planting season is all year long, with some protection...Looking good so far, on your homestead

i'm having a hard time finding stuff a Tractor Supply where I live. It seems like they never have a good stock of stuff lately. That's too bad about the bull. Insane price! I couldn't believe it when you said how much the cost was. Ugh! Cute kittens! Also, that lamb is a very pretty color!

You and I have the same thought process so it does make us feel like friends for a while now. :) Yesterday I harvested most of my broccoli and today I am shucking some peas. Neither did well this year- too much rain. We grew parsnips for the 1st time and we both love them. I am hoping to plant more for my fall harvest. Was fun watching your daughter drive the tractor. My dad never allowed us girls to learn that- that was a boys job on the farm :) Hope you have a fantastic day
Sounds yummy to be getting peas and broccoli already! My husband taught me and I teach everyone. We gave 10 girls and 2 boys at home us girls do lots of non traditional type roles. They enjoy it!

lol I don’t really know what quality sleep is but I will tell you. I fall straight to sleep at night. Especially this time of year!

You're so close to a busy road. Do you worry about vehicle pollutants in your potato soil and other nearby fruits/veg?
Not really I mean most people buy from the grocery store from places that the soil is drained of nutrients. Chemicals organic or not added. I know what I put in and am thankful for the land to grow what I can.
Everything is looking so great. Lots a hands is so helpful. It's sad about the bull. Not quite the same but we were going for some turkey chicks and we weren't able to get them.
I am working on getting the squash planted this week.and my daughter and grandkids brought me some tomatoes for mother's day. So I am excited to have those to plant.

Is there a farmer near u that will let u use their bull for a small fee so u don't have that large of expense to buy a bull. Or maybe artificial insemination. That way u still have the pigs for your freezer
And do have the expence of a bull
@@patshirey6190 unfortunately not really my husband could AI but it’s been awhile since he did like over 20 years we would need to drive 5-9 hours to get but we don’t have a tank. It why we keep a bull we are super rural. Not farm rural more middle of the wood rural. I think we found a bull though
