Excellent instructional video... Thanks!!! Knowing how to properly take plastic components apart is critical. One broken plastic tab will completely alter the scope of a project.
This was super helpful! I was able to get the O-rings I needed off Amazon, and then, with this video, it was just 5 minutes to get them all replaced. Thank you!
I only know what this thing is because of your filter-changing vid but I watched all the way through because I enjoy your vids so much, no kiddin'. Cheers Harki, love to you all there.
Thanks mark appreciate it. We are doing well here in TX, hope the same for you and yours. Cheers!

Hello my friend, Congratulations my friend, your work is always more innovative and practical than serious. the relief valve is now complete. I always like your ideas. See you. Stay healthy and happy. Big greetings.
I really like how you break everything down step by step. The blue tape was a very good tip. I would be done with replaced o rings and not able to put the two parts back together. Very instructive video my friend. 😀
Valve is closed but the o-rungs inside the valve have worn out so air leaks. Simple solution is to replace the o-rings so the valve can do its job. Hope that helps
My pump only has one speed so its either off or on. I have never seen a variable speed pool pump, however if you have one you should always start with a lower speed and then increase. Not sure if that’s what you were asking?
Thanks, I bought it from eBay. You will see in extended description of the video a section Materials and Supplies - I bought the o-rings from ebay, search "o rings 98209800, 98209803, 98209804" to find the part Hope that helps, it was about $8 Course that’s only if your valve is the same as one of the numbers I gave above
Is it leaking from the valve spout? If so and you replaced all the o rings then best to just replace the whole valve. I assume the new o rings that you put in were for your valve.
Please see the description of the video where I had the part numbers for the valve I have. If you valve is different you will need to google it. For my valve: Materials and Supplies - I bought the o-rings from ebay, search "o rings 98209800, 98209803, 98209804" to find the part.

Thanks and you are correct on that sir.
just ordered some o rings rather than replacing the whole unit! thanks for uploading this!
Great!
Excellent video. You saved me a call to my pool repair guy. Thank you so much.
Lol that’s great, thanks for leaving the comment it’s appreciated

That’s awesome, glad the video helped. Thanks for leaving the comment, always nice when small channels like ours get feedback.
This was an awesome, short and specific video - the marking with the tape was a bonus great idea to make it easy to put back together. Thanks!
Thank you and I appreciate that
That was an excellent suggestion! I went a slightly different route and simply took a picture of the spout in relation to the gauge.

Thanks you, it’s a simple fix that anyone can do and save some $$.
I need to visit your channel and see your latest masterpiece.
Great instructional Harki, some people would call a tradesman or purchase a new one when the fix is easy enough mate 👍👍👍
Thanks mate. It was the easiest fix .
saved me about a $300 repair visit--thank you
Thank you for the video! I was about to order a new valve.
Great, hopefully just the o-rings for you too
Harki, these o rings are always the culprit. They cost almost next to nothing, but is pretty critical in maintaining a leak free function.
Right on man, and so easy to fix. The pool man would charge an arm and leg if someone doesn’t know how to do these simple fixes.
Fixing mine now too thanks to you! Perfect video!
Thanks hope it works out
Thank you! You saved my Saturday!
Thanks glad it did
Why would air be coming out when valve is closed position?
Thank you for a great video.

Hope that helps

That’s great, appreciate you leaving a comment
When starting the pump and refilling the tank do you go in an manually set it up for a lower pump speed?

Where'd you get the replacement o-rings bro?...nm I see in comments below thanks!
See the extended description on this video. I bought them from eBay. If you know the part number you will see them sold on ebay
Awesome!
Thank you for the video!
What size are the o rings for it?
If you go see the description of the video you will see I have the part numbers to the o rings. That’s for the valve I have.
Seems like you could have replaced the damaged o-ring without pulling the valve off the filter housing.
@@ozzman530 yes I could have but better and easier to just remove the valve and replace all three o rings at the same time.
Awesome, where's the link for the parts?
Thanks, I bought it from eBay. You will see in extended description of the video a section

@@LonghornWorkshop yes sir!!!
Wow i broke my Valve over tighten it and it broke. Man wish I had watched this before I broke it.
Yeah we all been there man, hand tighten snug is my rule nowadays
If this fixes my Leak from top of filter, I'll be back to exclaim your glory.
lol let’s hope so. If it’s leaking from the valve it’s either the o rings or the valve itself. Regardless it’s a cheap fix.
