I know this track BY HEART lmao i literally did thousands laps of this bad boi, through shift, shift 2, gt4,5,6,sport and 7, assetto corsa and still... i do mistakes at every single lap damn
I know this track by heart and now the only time I make a mistake is if I'm trying to drive side by side with someone
@@xsmockjrx agreed, doing solo time trial laps I can handle this track very well, considering I have done it hundreds of times over tons of games. But the moment it’s a race and there are other cars I just muck it up every time haha
I know it like the back of my hand golded it before physics update on a ps4 controller it may also be because i know the m6 endurance car very well too

@@danquaza9275 Well it’s the same for everyone more or less, hell I got about 70k kilometers on that track through a bunch of different games (Assetto, Forza, GT, iRacing etc) and when racing there I always go 90/95% pace not more, unless I’m far away from others .
It prevents making any big mistakes .
I use the demonstration ghost to see where my mistakes are. It helps alot.
If you have GT sport use the demonstration on that. They have the actual narrator and he helps big time by telling you breaking points and throttle you should have.

@@TK7-VB exactly. The only mistake I have encountered was turn braking for better exits.
How do you enable the ghost?
If you off set it by 0.2 sec it gives you something to chase without it getting in the way
The Nürnburgring is just one of the best tracks that has ever been made 🔥🔥

I like the Nurburgring, it's a nice challenge, it's a really good course for pushing cars to their limits. Brands Hatch however, fuck that track lol.
As someone that's been doing this track for years in all of the Gran Turismo games, and even a racing game that was LMP only, I forgot the name, but this track can definitely get pretty easy over time once it is ingrained in your head lol.

The ring is a really fun track. I personally have at least 1,000 laps combined on all the games I played.
After 300 laps you can do it with your eyes closed.

I started memorising this track playing it on GT psp for days then moved up to AC and that improves it more. Still haven't memorise the names only know dottinger hohe . But I have to say this is my go to track to test any car/mod I find

I've recently beat the Nurburgring with ALL gold and it was a bitch in the ass to complete I swear. I raged so hard throughout the sector runs that I literally bent my shifter holder from a 90 degree angle to a 50 degree angle.

There's a reason legendary F1 driver Jackie Stewart called this course the "Green Hell". At least you don't have a pace car to to avoid crashing into in this game...
A big thing that helped me gold all circuit experiences was not listening to the "suggested gear" I always have it on one gear higher than they tell me to.
Use the Demonstration Ghost on a half second delay, and play tag. As for "is this the hardest" challenge in GT7, no.

You should do a stream where you just drive around this track lap after lap after lap. Practice practice practice, it's all it is.

Try short shifting, whenever you try the hot lap again, before you do it go through all the sections again, that'll help a lot with the muscle memory, and last, depending on how competitive you are and self improver, use your ghost, it helps getting better and better, sometimes you'll improve 1 sec, some time 1 tenth, it tookl me AGES to complete it but now I know the track and I have beaten the gold time 3 times improving my time. hope this helps

The Nurb track is amazing with a stock NA miata. So easy to push that car to the limit while still being able to manage brake points lmao but that's just my opinion
A good example of slower cars being more fun because you can use all of their limits.

I memorised it by constantly doing it again and again trying to get the fastest time I could in gt sport. Then beating it with another car. Spent so long that now I actually know the track very well.
I found the Nordschleife as child's play (but still quite hard though), since getting gold there is nothing compared to Le Mans and Circuit de Sainte-Croix.

update 1.13 actually fixed the traction on RWD cars like this and now it's actually possible to drive the M6 without dying of spinning

Nurburgring Nordschleife is the hardest one when take a corner of that track.
Even in real life.
I break the track up into four pieces:
The first piece is the dog-leg straight in the beginning where you can push the car.
The second is the first true technocal bit where the track makes you focus on conering for a bit.
The third is with the two carousels; somewhat fast and technical.
The fourth is the long straight where you just chill and play 'i spy' with the castle in the distance.

I remember not getting acquainted with this track properly until GT5 - I was handed an AMG, in the rain. Afterwords you kind of just get a "feel" for the track sections and memorize what to do where
When he was raging, it reminded me of the stupid licenses that I have to get all gold to get that gold trophy.

one of the joys of real racing like games compared to street racing games is that a race that takes 10 minutes feels like not enough because of the technical depth and understanding that you're putting behind controlling the car and pushing it to it's limits while the laws of the universe themselves toss you around.
You don't get that kind of depth in an arcade street racing game and so races can't be that long. But they're built for different goals so it's okay!
you should learn trail braking, you will brake so much later and your lap times will thank you. Keep it up!

I got gold on every part & after approximately 50+ tries I’m still .5 seconds off the gold for full lap, had to leave it to come back later cuz I was about to break my console. Lol

Trail breaking and keeping your momentum especially up the incline’s is key to getting gold.
I used to hate this track too until I learnt it in Assetto Corsa over the last few years. Now I love doing a hot lap every now and then.

If gp is for babies and nordeschleif isn't, then date to do the 24 lemans course...it's easy as pie, even with 170+ turns and dozens of dips and elevations.......I've tamed the biggest track in GT
All in all the actual track in Germany is the largest track in the world, 1 lap is over 19 miles. And the world record lap in something like 6:40 ish.
There are 15 sectors all together.

The Track Record is with a Porsche 919 Hybrid Evo, it's something around 5 minutes

I love this track ever since Gran Turismo 4. You have to do a lot of laps in order for you to get familiar with the track, otherwise you'll only get frustrated. Trying to get better lap times (or even master the track) is another different ball game. Besides, it was called the "green hell" for a reason.
This is like the new "Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy".
That Gr.1 series race at Suzuka is darned near impossible. I try every car to try to even get a podium finish but nothing ever seems to work. Not even in my souped up 787B can I do it. Even on easy and with assists a lot of these races in the game are extremely difficult and unforgiving. And they're not even fun either they're just frustrating. In Gran Turismo 4 races are pretty easy for the most part but the most difficult ones are challenging and fun and does offer some forgiveness. 7 is definitely not a game you can just pick up and play if it's your first time playing the series. It's even difficult for me, someone who has been playing the series for 24 years.

you should have just bought the car and done time attack laps to memorise it until you got close to the time consistently the went for it
It is a better way to learn the track but he might’ve not had the time, or even wanted to take all that time for the sake of the video.

I know this track better than the back of my hand, but it is certainly different with each separate style of car. Aero is BIG, Especially for race cars and beyond. Though it's all about road cars and tuning the car for me.
