@@Dallas-Rife-UDX-347-Tennessee a preemptive device is a special light, either strobe or infrared, that flashes a specific pattern that is recognized by traffic lights (if they are so equipped) and will change the lights in the direction the emergency vehicle is going to green.
Hey crew, I've got to do a build on a 2024 3500 High Country. I'm assuming the interior under skin and firewall is similar. what are some difficulties your team had on this particular truck?
I want it. just amazing how police vehicles are getting love. crown victoria was great car but was plain not even a cd player in most. id like to drive this truck.
Why not put the back window micro-pulse at the top of the window rather than the bottom? There is a lot mid-height on the sides and having that light up higher would add visibility for road closures over a hill or something.
I can see EV's being the go-to for city PD's. I recently read something about a small northern state town making the switch . . . The upfront cost of the EV and outfitting is less than $3500 more per unit. With the savings in fuel cost and short service life of police vehicles; I can't ever see a PD having to replace the batteries in an EV🤷♂️
@@TBA_EAS cops don't care, they just want you to pay the ticket anyway. Tint is not dangerous on the roadway, drunk idiots that are always involved in head on collisions and fatalitie crashes are dangerous.
Connecting the siren to the horn wires via relay....OR...via CantrolWC, Carbide, Core, Blueprint etc.....so that you can activate the horn (and lights if programmed that way) simply by pushing the horn on your car....

Very clean builds! What's the build speck on the Tomar? I think I figured out there order sheet but I'm not 100%.
Imagine just driving through the city non-code with the pre-emptive turned on without anyone knowing. That would be amazing ahahah
We used to do it all the time ... 🤫
Someone knows, many pre-emptive devices are coded and habe identifiers.
What’s a preemptive device ?
