kinda, i have wavy hair, the downside of straight hair is that if you DON'T style it it sucks unless you are REALLY blessed with genetics, if you have wavy hair or curly hair you can just shampoo and conditioner and let it air dry and it will be somehow decent because you have naturally some volume and waves. I have dermatitis and really sensible scalp so i can't really use styling products every day, i just use them on weekend, and at least i can have decent hair even without really styling, you just need a good haircut and good shampoo and conditioner
