What!!? Two of my favorite vloggers, Coaster Studios and Theme Park Worldwide posted a Tripsdrill Park theme park video on the same day!! ❤❤❤ you all! I will be on a super high all week...
It's so great to follow you around and have nostalgia to my coaster days. Tripsdrill is one of a kind. I remember that some of the staff could use to be more friendly, but it's still a great park. Hals-über-Kopf is just like in Dutch: Hals Over Kop, and is a saying in both languages about a situation that is no longer going well. such as 'Everything goes "Hals-über-Kopf". "From your neck over your head". Referring to the physical inversions on the ride... It's actually ambiguous and that's the joke of the name.
I can't tell you how many times I again, laughed out loud during this vlog! The frame where y'all were just starting the rapids ride and the camera was immediately on Charlotte's face, that was too funny! 😂 And then again, Charlotte on that slide screaming... Really made me laugh hard!! 🤣 Charlotte, you always catch me off guard at just the right time! However, I was quickly reminded that I wasn't home alone watching the vlog, instead... I was in the middle of the sky on a very full plane! It definitely didn't stop me from having a blast watching you two!! Shawn, I appreciate you always trying to pronounce the names of the rides! You could just not say anything at all, but I think it shows your respect towards the people of the country where y'all are visiting! So well done! 👏🏻 ❤
What a great family theme park some terrific family coasters and dark rides. It’s very well laid out and perfect for the family relaxed day out. Fabulous vlog TPW crew.
And you did a great job! But you have to work on the two major coasters. To be fair "ch" and "ü" are sounds that dont get used in english at all, so it's definetly not easy and not your fault.
Nice video, really enjoyed and look forward to always seeing more in future. Interesting attractions they have here, Suspended Vekoma coaster looks really good here with inversions aswell. Hoping we get one of them in the UK at some point, I'm hoping not on Vampire at Chessington WOA. As love that ride as it is layout wise, could maybe see a retrack, more helixes added? But please no inversions, ideal to be type it is. Hoping we get one at Universal GB? One of the other Merlin Parks or London Resort if happens? Still believe myself? But I guess we shall see. But nice & interesting vlog, really enjoyed and look forward always to more. Cheers. 😀👍
A park I have never been to and will check out in the future 👌 it looks great there, nothing huge, but has that family friendly feel which I like in a park - great vlog 😀
I have to say, I really enjoy watching your video’s. I watch them all the time, especially when I feel a bit down. The positivity you guys have in your video’s really makes me feel better. Thank you for that and keep up with the great vids!
I cant really help you with the pronounciation, because the sounds "ü" and "ch" dont really exist in English. But I can tell you what they mean. And nearly every coaster has a great name! Karacho doesn't really translate directly to english, but it means forceful and fast Volldampf doesn't translate great either, but if you translate it directly it means full steam. But it's used to express doing something very fast or with much effort. And that is why it's probably the best fitting name for a coaster ever Hals-über-Kopf is also a great name. It translates to neck over head which fits because of the inversions. But hals über kopf means also fearless, without thinking first and without hesitation. And because its themed to a fairytale about some kind of heros, it's perfect. Rasender Tausendfüssler means in this context very fast moving centepide, although it looks more like a worm. Mammut means mammoth, not sure why ots called like that. Mammut at Gardaland is a good name though because its themed after the Ice Age. Tbh, as a Swiss, I dont even know what gesengt means. It has something to do with animals that get on fire or shooted or something like that. It gets used for some sayings like "like "gesengte Sau"". Sau is a word for a pig. Hope i could help!
Excellent video Shawn and Charlotte from Tripsdrill in Germany! In this vlog, we experience everything that this charming family theme park has to offer, including on-ride povs from all 6 roller coasters at the park. We ride Karacho, Hals-über-Kopf, Mammut, and many more awesome attractions on offer at Tripsdrill. We also experience a variety of family rides, water attractions, and much more! keep the good videos coming on the channel, Shawn and Charlotte. 😀😀👍👍
That was the biggest pumpkin you've ever seen? Well you wouldn't have had to travel very far... just to Ludwigsburg near Stuttgart, to see pumpkins that make the one on display in Tripsdrill look like a dwarf. Every year around Halloween, Ludwigsburg hosts the "Kürbisausstellung", the pumpkin display, where you find all sorts of pumpkins, including record sized ones. They even had world record pumpkins. Being 50 times the size of the one you saw in Tripsdrill. Also, the marry-go-round with the shoes... You were wondering why shoes. Well, those were among the oldest rides in the park, together with the caterpillar (not nearly as old as the slide in the windmill, though, where it all started) and well, if I remember correctly those were the shoes of the caterpillar. That's why there are so many of them. 49:00 "I'm not too sure what is going on..." Well, these are Adam and Eve. Maybe you heard of them before? You know, from the Bible? :D
It's a great idea to package the Suspended Thrill Coaster with the Family Boomerang, so they can share supports. Would be good for Pleasurewood Hills. I'd also love to see a really long, elaborate version of the STC somewhere, like what F.L.Y. did for flying coasters.
Yeah, we have a nice amount of good parks in germany. But best thing is: we're in the heart of europe. It's neither too expensive nor too far, to visit theme parks in other countries. As for me, i live extremely close to the dutch border (also many many great parks over there) and Heide Park, Phantsialand and Movie Park are just 3, 2 and 1 hour drives away. All in all i have about 10 parks within 3 hours of driving. Also some belgian parks would be within 3 hours, but i've never been to one over there. That will change in 2025
Looks like a really good park, the new Vekoma Coasters are much better than the old ones like you said, always love the vlogs as it helps me found out about European parks that I wouldn’t have even known existed without your vlogs 👍🏻😁
At the scene with Adam & Eve is a snake in the tree and in front of them is a sensor that activates the snake which is spying water at you. Cause you should not look too much at them. It's a typical thing to show the humor at the park.
The name of fhe flume translates to Bath Tub Trip to the Fountain of Youth. That's what happening in the dark ride scene: the old ladies go into the fountain and come out young again. It ties into the story of the Altweibermühle (the Old Womans Mill), the windmill with the slide inside that started the park. The story there is that when old ladies go down the slide they are "milled" back to being young.
I would love to do what you do, go around travelling to different theme parks. Recording your fun. Something I would love to do. I love rollercoasters. Only been in the uk parks. Would love to ride an rmc like wildcats revenge.
Love that skinny dipping scene on the log flume😄.which park is it that has the giant lady who's legs you go through? My husband doesn't believe me when I told him there's such a thing😂
I looked at the Wikipedia page for Gerstaluer so it sounds like when Schwarzkopf was liquidated Zierer finished Lisebergbahnen and took the patents, but Gerstlauer took over some of their facilities, but was still six years before G'sengte Sau. I thought their was a Schwarzkopf connection
Personally, I find the story of how gurstlauer got started to be fascinating. Alot of folks don't know, but he got his start as an engineer with Schwarzkopf before starting his own firm
Was the new skyfly at toverland not as well themed as the one at tripsdrill or did you forget to mention it? I ask because yoy said this is the best skyfly in terms of theming.
Okay, I know that USUALLY when you and Charlotte are in the US in the fall you are doing Halloween in Orlando ... but if you ever go to any State/Agricultural fair you'll see pumpkins in excess of 800-1000 pounds if not more ! Do they not do that in the UK ?
Advice please does anybody know if pleasuyre beach offer a discount too platinum passes for the following season before i pay the price they offer now id rather pay cheaper if possible and i heard they do have promotions
What your thoughts on the news of six flags and cedar fair merge and what do you think is going to happen with the names of all the Parks they are expecting the deal to be closed next year just wanted to know what you guys think of it

OMG that vekoma suspended thrill coaster looks so whippy and smooth
It’s such a great ride!
Its the smoothest coaster i‘ve ever ridden
That's because it is. Great ride!

The fact that vekoma has gone from making their rough SLCs to stuff like those suspended thrill coasters is crazy!

You could make a lot of Pumpkin soup with that pumpkin 8:55
You could!
15:28 spot on!
Your pronunciation of "G'sengte Sau" was actually quite decent :-)
I try my best!

@@Donnerfink and the yet the uk has the worst trashiest small parks that i have zero desire to go to. Sigh
@@hollybabyyy Alton Towers looks awesome to be honest. And I'd like to visit Blackpool PB at some point.
Loving the vlogs!
Thank you so much
Emerald park in Ireland is getting the same stc and family boomerang with just a few small layout changes, will be great for the park
They are indeed

I think the new skyfly in Toverland is the most beautiful.
When me and dad went on the log flum we had no idea we went backwards 😂
Brilliant!
Just looked up that rollerskater guy, there is a few videos of him on the discovery channel and videos on here absolute nutter 😂😂

German farmers: 200 Kilo pumpkin
American farmers: 2000lbs (over 900kilo) pumpkin
That’s crazy!

great video! I actually think that Pixarus in Toverland is the best themed Sky Fly, it has an amazing interaction with Fenix!
It’s a great ride!
Great Vlog as always Shawn and Charlotte
Thank you
@@ThemeParkWorldwide you’re welcome
I think the naked people maybe Adam and Eve in the woods from the bible perhaps? Cool park, nice to see somewhere new.

Such a classic!

Beautiful SUNNY morning yet it looks freezing COLDDDDDDDDDDDDDD. And everyone there is wearing jackets and hoodies. I hate weather like that.
It was a cold and wet day!
Is there lockers in this park and any storage for suitcases? Planning to spend a couple hours here between Europa Park and Phantasialand
I’m not too sure on that one
Was the new skyfly at toverland not as well themed as the one at tripsdrill or did you forget to mention it? I ask because yoy said this is the best skyfly in terms of theming.
That is also a well themed ride!
Charlotte was disappointed in the pumpkin lift attempt😂
She was 😂

Thank you. We have indeed, but not this trip!
How do u find out about all these places
We have researched parks for years!
Mako sea world Orlando 2023 November to December
So the Karacho is actually easy. U say it Ka-ra-cho. The meaning is "with great speed"
It’s a great ride!
😊👍
Happy Halloween to the both of you 🎃 Don't get to spooky tomorrow 👻
You too!
48:15 Very creepy with the well at Tripsdrill park.
the way he pronounces the coasters names is funny, not a bad thing tho
which wooden coaster would you say is better out of grand national and big dipper at blackpool pleasure beach
Big Dipper!
Thanks
Another park to add to the list!
Efteling
Europa
Phantasialand
Tripsdrill
Which others are on this level that we need to add?
Toverland!
Have you ever been to Woodlands Theme Park near Dartmouth in Devon
There’s a vlog on the channel
Hiya shawn and charlotte do you know what theme parks in the ul allow on ride filming?
There's not a huge amount of parks in the UK that allow it unfortunately
Eh up he calls em cobs like me!!
Did you enjoy and what are your favourite rides there

Did Charlotte say we’ve not been to this park since 2029 or is my hearing off 😂😂! X
2019! 😂
are those screwfix work gloves 😂
They are from Lidl 😂
Did Karacho in 2021 and ride staff were jumping on everyones restraints each time. It was so painful. 😔
Oh no! That’s never good!
It really ruined the coaster as it was so uncomfortable.
Sorry guys I haven’t watched you for a while don’t worry I haven’t quit
