Worked like a charm today. Appreciate the tip and time you took to make this.

Love your vids on maintenance for Hope brake!. Since Hope is using Goodridge hoses, its strange they have not switched to Goodridge fittings. The Goodridge fittings have many advantages: 1) Don't need to remove the plastic outer, so SS braiding won't fray 2) They are re-useble, no olive and easy to remove/install 3) Allow hose to twist so installation is easy

Hi there, Thank you for your video !
Do you think I could use a jagwire hose cutter to cut the HopeTech braided hose that came with my T4 ?
Or, is it too much of a light tool ?

I wouldn't, but I've been wrong in the past. Just for the sake of your tool i would rather not

Do you know for the new braided hose if you still have to cut the plastic sleeve on the outside of the hose ?

I have been asking this too, today i fitted new braided hoses on my friends brakes but olive slid right on to outter plastic sleeve so i didnt cut it because otherwise olive would stay loose

If its the hope braided hose that came with them out of the factory then yes. If its an aftermarket/goodridge hose then no the fitting will be slightly different
