Only reason why Rin wants to "destroy" his brother is cause his brother rejected him, hating how Rin was using Sae as motivation to play
I think that it would be important to remember that this guy was so out of pocket that not only did he throw hands with rin after every match but he got locked up in a straight jacket and gagged.

I read the arc in a whole night. The amount of people they were able to establish (story and power) kept me on the edge of my seat. That game animated is going to be unreal.
Hopefully they'll be able to chill out on the cgi by then and make it look smooth
@@DarkheroJosh Agreed. The overhead manga panels of them switching passes and dribbling looks so much more intense in the manga than in the cgi. Need to take a page out of Haikyuu’s book.

I don’t play football normally, but I do know quite a bit. Is this realistic that a team of strikers were able to beat National level team? The question is how we’re strikers able to defend so well? Normally strikers who are forced to play as a defender usually don’t do so well. Does this mean all positions in football are based on the same principles? How else would the blue lock team survive?
Defenders have only one thing in mind, instead of actually defending, they think "I have to steal the ball", that's what full team of forwads is thinking
The general idea is all about the player's desire to complete their mission. Although Ego singles out strikers, that is true for every roll, but it is easiest to bring out that ego for the strikers. For strikers their mission is obvious, score a goal, the next most obvious is the goalkeeper, keep the opponents from scoring a goal, the defense and midfielders were a little more complicated, but the skills and mindset they achieved in blue lock allowed them to gain a new goal. "Crush the forwards". Ego's philosophy applies all throughout soccer as a sport. Use your "weapon" or the thing that makes you good at something, and apply it to your situation. Someone like Niko, for example is good at reading the field and watching from the outside to swoop in methodically. This made him a decent striker, but a very good defender.
Not to mention footballs history was just a game of strikers in the first place before positions were a thing everyone was strikers
Almost every good professional player has played at a striker at basic youth levels. Generally because they are the best players on the pitch, Then they get transferred to higher levels and switch positions. Basicallly these are high schoolers so even if they play as strikers, they arent that specialized and can do everything almost equally well
At the start ego choosing the 300 "strikers" base on his choice and bias, and even i know some of them ain't a pure striker like hiori for example. Suited for a midfielder
