He says things that provoke a conversation that needs to be had, or inspires you to share ya thoughts about certain things in life with someone else. I had an issue when my brother passed away, I needed to understand WHY, he took my baby brother from me. He answered me one day when I was in Church crying he said "You all have a Birth date and an Expiration date." That was a true eye opener for me but then two weeks later He took my Grandmother, I understood her passing better because she was 85 and she had lived a full life. I also knew she wasn't going to want to live without my brother. She looked like she was sleeping but my brother looked like a stranger to me, I lost my mind at his wake (which I had no intention of going to, but my grandmother wanted me to go for her. She wanted to see a picture of him in his casket ) I couldn't let her see him that way, I went nutty because I dropped his clothes off and soon as I got home the funeral home called me to ask if I was going to bring his clothes. When I pulled up everyone was walking out with these puzzled looks on their faces. His children hadn't gone in, so I told them "let's go see your Dad" I was prepared to catch one of them but they just looked puzzled, when they moved and I saw this person in my brother's suit and casket. I went off, I demanded that they find my brother and get this guy whoever he was out of my brother's suit and casket. They made everyone leave the room except for me and my husband( at the time, )they gave the paperwork that came with him to me and I read it and then they had me read the numbers on his toe tag, to see that the numbers match. Now as a Nurse, I know mistakes do happen after the director felt I was satisfied, he let everyone back in and now I'm sitting there looking at him with that same puzzled look everyone else had on their faces. His youngest daughter came up to me and grabbed my hand and said " come with me Auntie" she showed me his scar from a surgery he had on his wrist. I was too through, as I turned around to sit back down my nephew had to catch me cause as I turned around my husband saw my face as he was talking to my nephew he told him to catch me, he caught me before I hit the floor and sat me down. If my grandmother hadn't begged me to go for her, I would have acted like that at his funeral. Thank God I was an obedient granddaughter.
