Bonnie does sing songs that are not belters.... "Picture Show", "Short Order World", "The World Will Remember Me", "The World Will Remember Us", "Too Late To Turn Back Now" and "What Was Good Enough For You"... "You Love Who You Love", "How Bout A Dance" and "Dyin' Aint So Bad" I think are the only belters she sings, so the character actually features in more non-belters than belting songs.
Is there a place where I can buy the full show online. Because I really love this show and I've only seen it on TH-cam (which isn't the best quality) if any of y'all know please pass on the info
Do something with the rights of the play and release the pro shot pleaseeee! I don't know if it's on the NYC Archives, but even if it was, I don't live there so I don't get to watch it ;ccc
Its not just the music that people may not have liked. I've seen the Broadway version of the show, and the music was amazing and worked beautifully. But the book was AWFUL. If you took a shot for every time Blanche called Buck "daddy," then you would need to go the hospital. And the scene where Bonnie and Clyde meet is really awkward. It was supposedly love at first sight, but it seemed so weird that it didn't really make sense.
I have seen the bootleg, and their first meeting didn't seem awkward at all. Maybe they were just having an off night when you saw it? I'm not trying to change your opinion and if you didn't like it, that is absolutely fine. Everyone can like and dislike what they want xx
too bad this show didn't even last long enough for me to book a flight...I dunno if it's the Critics or Frank Wilhorn but I wish his shows would stay on TGWW for longer than a week.
Can anyone explain what her voice is doing? I've heard people sing like this before. Like when she changes notes, her voice doesn't crack but it kind of sounds like it does. Like what is the technique behind singing like this vs having solid transitions between notes?
im sorry but i think that the music did not coincide with the time period. I think thats what threw people off. If it would have been more classic than maybe reviews would have been better. Then yet again maybe i dont know what I'm talking about.
This is seriously one of the best shows out there. The music, the script, the emotions.. So sad it closed.
I don't understand why it ran for almost not even a month
Coming back to say, its opening at the west end in April
can we just talk about laura osnes's belt for a second.

She's too flawless to be real
We can talk about it for a few hours if you'd like

Love the story of Bonnie and Clyde the where both nuts thought
B & C is a good example of how you can portray sex without being graphic or vulgar. It's too bad Hollywood can't do that.
Right?
How do they do that, I’ve never seen it?
their chemistry is so unbelievale
Her voice is soooooo beautiful. It’s so clear and pure.
This musical was so so so amazingly beautiful I CANNOT believe it only got 30 days on Broadway!! It deserved SO much netter
Dying Ain’t So Bad is such a beautiful song 😭
Jeremy Jordan shirtless and pantless in the bathtub tho
This musical makes me so happy and their chemistry is amazing!
I think Wilddhorn has written some great songs - that touched me a lot.
Don't know what is wrong with critics.
I have the same uke as jeremy jordan. i feel a little cooler now

I wish this show didn't closed

My high school in The Colony Texas won the auction for the full set and props+costumes and the show was so awesome!
That is so cool.
no one can understand how much i need to see this cast live. bring me back to 2011
This is one of the greatest shows i have seen. I love it the emotion and the songs. Really sad it closed #open again

If Jeremy and Laura were not married to other people they would make a really cute couple
True
@Kelly Clark also true
I thought they were married until I looked them up and found out they were married but to different people 😂

6:57 - 7:28 please just take that emotion and appreciate it
I’m convinced Laura osnes is the only one who can match Jeremy Jordan’s vocals
This show should NOT have closed -_-

@@jenn3685 You know that "the book" means the script, right? Not an actual book. Just the parts of the musical that aren't songs.
I want I see it!!!
If Laura had been cast as Karen in SMASH I wouldn't hate the show as much as I do. She's captivating!
Do they have this Musical on DVD somewhere!?
No, but if you go to the library at Lincoln Center you can watch it on film there. Just make a reservation.
where exactly is Lincoln Center D: i live in Canada!
Nikki Reining Sorry, it's in Manhattan. :(
Here on youtube has the bootleg.
NewElizaD Really? I've watched the one where its shot from someone in the audience, would it really be any different?
too bad this show didn't even last long enough for me to book a flight...I dunno if it's the Critics or Frank Wilhorn but I wish his shows would stay on TGWW for longer than a week.

SWEET BABY JESUS 6:43
This musical is just bi panic for me
Battery Pack for the Microphone
What’s on Bonnie’s forehead?
What is that thing stuck on Jeremy's back in the tub scene? Is he having a bath in money?
Francesca Aarons in the show he gets shot in his shoulder. That’s the bandage.
Just from watching the highlights(this video) I agree with you. The music doesn't seem to fit. But that is just my opinion.
I really wish stark sands was still clyde...
I love the music in this show! But does anyone else think Bonnie and Clyde were overly glorified?
Maddie Riley
no they were just humanized
im sorry but i think that the music did not coincide with the time period. I think thats what threw people off. If it would have been more classic than maybe reviews would have been better. Then yet again maybe i dont know what I'm talking about.
The music in Hamilton didn’t coincide with the time period it’s set in. Look where it is now
