I had my first ever panic attack yesterday and this video helped me relax and remember what was important in life. You’ve inspired me to go outside today and get some much needed rest and recovery. Mother Nature really does heal all. Thanks again
I so agree with you getting outside connecting with nature. Absolutely a beautiful video it's so relaxing to watch. It just encourages me to keep going Camping. Thank you so much for sharing and encouraging others.
If one has never heard the symphony of rain on the roof of a tent, then one has never lived. It's never too late: get out there now and live before it is too late. Enjoyed the video. ATB Cheers from the mountains of NZ 😀😀
Hi Becks. Seems like forever since we've seen you at your 'base' camp. I've loved your recent travels but there's something very comforting & relaxing about watching you in those woods. Keep up the good work mate ! xx
Hi this older vlog is probably one of my favs ......no mention of Landies and yeh I do love them .No ....the in simple reason I enjoyed this one was the appreciation of your surroundings ,at such a young Age I'm 62 you've simply nailed it .Loved the Archery too 😊
Well Becky that was lovely and watching you around the fire bought it all back to me as 43 years ago I spent a year living like thatin a Tipi I built and my friend spent 10 years in the Tipi. I tell you I've almost forgotten but its still there a part of my character. ❤ Thanks for the great films.
Always good to hear from you. I believe you’re right about getting a good sleep in. All of the electronics during the day can’t be good. Thanks girl! Bread looks great.
Another great video. I just spent about an hour in a thunderstorm, splashing around and acting like a child. I'm 54 and haven't done so in decades. I feel wonderful again. Couldn't go camping this weekend so I'll settle for playing in the rain a bit.🙃😁
Great to see you out there again. What you are trying to say is get into the out there because it is good for the soul. Can't wait for the next video. Stay well and be safe.
It's always good to see you again, nice and quiet I too stay in the mountains camping for months at a time. The old man in the mountains said that. Take care.
Was only talking about going barefoot to ground myself today....how lovely it is to get away from the rat race. I went to a car and dog show today...the turnout was mega and I couldn't enjoy it because of the hustle and bustle of so many people in one place. Found a little piece under a n oak tree and a welcoming shade from the sun. Almost time for me to get out again for a rest. Great video mate, good to see you back in the woods again
I've done this for over 20 years in my local woods. I 100% agree with you about rooting your self and relaxing with nature. With (for example) making food and drink I feel it's more hands on(far better in my opinion).. It's a shame that more young lady's like yourself are not educated in the beauty and freedom that can be had being outdoors. Great video..
Loved this video! Your so lucky to have a space like this. I was the crazy person that said hello yesterday, I hope you didn’t mind. Safe travels :) Lucie
Love your videos Becky. So inspiring. I try to spend a few days in the wild when possible. And I've been doing the earthing/grounding thing for about a year. It does make a difference. You're a joy to watch and listen to. Peace to you ✌
Hi Arthur, I'd love to know how your earthing/grounding has impacted you/what benefits you've seen? I've just discovered it and want to build it into my life so I'd be interested to hear what your experience has been!
Thanks for another delightful video. You've come a long way since you were a teenage bush crafter novice, you've used the time well tp develop your skills. Impressive recurve bow that you're using. They're becoming increasingly difficult to find. Seems that today everything has gone to compound bows, which I've never cared for. Stay well & safe, you're doing fine .. Cheers.
I totally understand why you hold grounding so highly. Having worked globally, whenever I came home I would fill the rucksack and head out for a overnight wild one, then I was ready for the kids and playtime. Keep doing what you do
Hi Becky This is good, like the way you stay calm and evaluate things. Love the Doggie and your archery skills with your recurve bow. Look forward tou your next video, take care
Wonderful to see you again, Becks! I SO get the de-compression effects you mention here. Reading T.R. or Kephart by lamplight is my way to do that here in the Great Smoky Mtns!
Shinrin-Yoku.....Forest Bathing in Japanese, a form of Ecotherapy. Base camps are awesome, as a retreat center and being familiar with the surroundings slows the need to explore and feel restless. Such as hanging a hammock between trees, of a known distance and pitching the suspension for that ideal sweet spot. No thought required. Raspberries on my forearm from poor Archery Technique quickly brings one into the present moment from instant pain and swelling. I try to avoid this rude awakening. Cheers! Thanks for popping in.
Morning coffee is really important. And its even more important when you can build a fire to heat the water for your morning coffee. You are one super extra amazing person. Your super extra fantastic. So crack on pretty young lady and enjoy your life fully. And have a super extra wonderful day.😊
I'd really like to get that medicine going out, that's one of the things i want to fulfil in my life, everytime i watch your videos i understand the importance of freedom enjoying nature and being happy with yourself, it's so lovely nice video as always😊😊 blessings ❤❤
That's what i Love about the Wonderful Outdoors. No tech. I do read a lot, but getting out there is so invigorating, and i Love being a tiny little Bug in a vast World with huge Trees towering over me, and a vast endless Sky sweeping by. When i get Working again, i miss it emmensely, and look forward to the next Holiday i've Booked off. Haa! 😁🤘
I can remember when I was you taking my shoes off for the first time in the springs/summer after wearing shoes all fall and winter. And it would sort of hurt walking in the woods because the bottom of my feet would be soft. Then after about a week I think I could run through the woods no problem:)
... Wonderful video ... A beautiful young woman in touch with this reality called life ... with outdoor skills that are a pleasure to watch .. love the camp ...
lovey little spot you have there....come say hello if your brave enough next time your in the lochaber area 🙈 ..Invermoriston.. Big Truck with solar...can't miss me..wish I had stopped and said hello when you had your..mishap at kingshouse...ps..excellent Archery group in kinlochleven 💚
I just love watching you enjoying life Becky. I really hope you are able to enjoy your chosen life path for many years to come, alone or with a partner. Have fun in Scotland, see on the next video.
I was laughing when I saw you cooking barefoot. Last week it was in the 90s here and I was cooking in my kitchen and an egg splattered oil over me in the worst place possible. Still blistered now, LOL Dave Spain
Nice to see you Earthing, soon as I saw you bare foot I thought good for you. I was doing this earlier this yeah, first time was after a frost haha, managed to walk for about an hour around the North Downs way. Later did about 6 miles, not easy but felt good. I did get some strange looks 🙂. Might have to check those shoes out, any info on where to get them?
Great video - thanks…love your content….class! Regards the woodland how have you been able to get access? i.e did you approach the landowner/is it public access etc? Thanks…
There have been shoes before that were supposed to mimic bare feet walking on the earth. Back in the 1970s there was the Kalsø Earth Shoes (still sold by the way) that had thicker soles and thinner heels to mimic bare feet walking on sand. Some people still swear by them. I hope yours are even better.
Amazing place and cooking skills !! I have a place away from society to recharge my mental capacity to deal with the system put in place many moons ago to manipulation and control the growing population perfecting it along the way blinding us from the beautiful life. The place is behind me on my profile picture it is on the beautiful coast of my Island beside the sea. It has a wood burning stove small kitchen with a platform for your sleeping system. It has no running water or electricity so I carry 100 lite backpack and a 35 lite on my front with everything in it including wood. I would imagine it could be 40kg at least. Like you said working hard gives you a great appreciation and many rewards. I carry everything about 40 mins until I reach paradise and then work begins to make myself at home. I can then switch of and have time to truly think surrounded by the beautiful raw power of nature. I even spend every Christmas Eve awakening for a Christmas morning swim in my trunks lol even Santa 🎅🏻 doesn’t come to my little place of tranquility lol. I hope one day to find this forever to make home 🏡 Thanks for sharing your skills and thoughts Davy
Oh, the bread & soup looked great. Welcome back to Scotland, and hope you have a great time. Can I ask have you every attempted to make a bow and arrows from scratch? I haven't but would be interested in trying.
Im happy to see you have enjoyed some time away from normal life The world has become tech mad ie social media that you can become easily wrapped up in Its good to get back to basic life skills but unfortunately i think the younger generation would not have a clue about
*Love this !!* *Much love !!* Oh and homemade tomato soup is delicious, oh and I can make a seriously banging tomato soup !! :)
you've gotten so good at producing your videos and the edit is just great, its a treat when you post!
I had my first ever panic attack yesterday and this video helped me relax and remember what was important in life. You’ve inspired me to go outside today and get some much needed rest and recovery. Mother Nature really does heal all. Thanks again
How? I cant seem to do it.

Finding a place with no people these days has become a mission of it's own!
I feel this comment...
Facts.
The results of an over populated island. Few to no wild places left and for those of us that enjoy solitude in nature practically impossible. 😑😔
Amen! (sadly). It does make it feel even more incredible when you have a landscape to yourself, but I sure hope it doesn't get any harder.
Well Becky that was lovely and watching you around the fire bought it all back to me as 43 years ago I spent a year living like thatin a Tipi I built and my friend spent 10 years in the Tipi.

Thank you so much!

Such a great campsite, I'm sure you're very proud with what you have achieved. So young and confident.

Our tough and beautiful Becky has all the skills. Can't wait to see her adventures overseas, especially in North America!

Great video Becky. Buster is too cute.
Oh, the bread & soup looked great. Welcome back to Scotland, and hope you have a great time. Can I ask have you every attempted to make a bow and arrows from scratch? I haven't but would be interested in trying.
Did the stronger feet make any noticeable difference to your cycling? I have always been curious about the barefoot shoe designs
Cody tried to the explain the problem with boots to Dave on Dual Survival years ago, but Dave didn’t believe Cody’s research.
Hello, dear! Have you ever gave it a thought about going on the tele show "Alone"? You would rock!
Looks calming & relaxing plus mother nature's the best & what's the name of the axe you are using thnx.
Thank you! :))
Can you leave your tent and stuff alone when you leave the site?
I'd love to see a video of your bike ride along the length of the country. Is it coming soon?
Yes it is :))
seeing you making that bread reminds me of Ray Mears Bush Craft food
Looks great
Im happy to see you have enjoyed some time away from normal life
The world has become tech mad ie social media that you can become easily wrapped up in
Its good to get back to basic life skills but unfortunately i think the younger generation would not have a clue about

Can you tell me the title/where to find the documentary on Earthing. I love a bit of bare foot time and would love to find out more about why
