Abbey, it would be nice if you showed other food choices....in majority of your tips, you reach for greek yoghurt, peanut butter, hemp hearts, berries, banana, eggs, cheese and avo.... What about other fruit, veg, types of yoghurt....there must be other snacks than carrots and hummus.....not hating, just would love to see more variety and new foods....thank you for your videos, you helped me a lot! :)

Oh man, you need to try Çılbır (jill-burr). It's a breakfast where you have Greek Yogurt and Poached Eggs with a nice mild chili oil and garlic. Serve some nice toasted french bread on the side to sop up the dippy eggs. The recipe by Chef John is really awesome!

I think it would be interesting to make a video giving tips for people who struggle with eating due to texture/sensory issues. I personally only grew up eating greek yoghurt and tomatoes or cucumber + certain fruits because I cannot bring myself to expand my palette (Ive tried but with no luck yet). I recognise that I definitely lack certain nutrients, but it's a challenge that I do not know how to tackle --do I rely on vitamin pills?

I have seen so many "eat like"-Videos and so many recipes and vlogs and "What I Eat In a Day" and tipps for certain purposes ... But I REALLY like the approach of your "attempt to eat like"-Videos - just because it is SO educative! It teaches such a great way of dealing with all the tipps and reasons and opinions and examples - just in your own way! Learning how to nonchalantly switch out this for that and turn meals into just balanced and satisfying and nutrient-dense meals without all the restriction BS - that is just SO SO cool.

I recently did a bloodwork and I am really sad to see that I have way too much saturated fats and bad cholesterol at the age of 21. I went from being orthorexic and anorexic to binge (several times in a row) to now eat a very similar diet as yours Abbey, and to follow almost all your tips, so I really thought my bloodwork would be perfect (yes I am a perfectionnist). Turns out that full fat dairy, a couple of cookies, a few handfulls of crisps, weekly pizza and/or fried food, even in a hunger crushing combo, cannot be healthy for everyone. I am not overweight and I do not binge anymore, so for that I am incredibly thankfull Abbey, but this is just a reminder for everyone to take general tips on the internet with a grain of salt. And to go do a bloodwork and ask a health professionel to analyse it!

Some people genetically are prone to high cholesterol and blood pressure regardless of diet. I’ve struggled with alternating between orthorexia, bulimia and binge eating my whole life. But until I hit late 40’s, had no health issues with cholesterol and blood pressure. Even now when I’m heaviest I’ve ever been, I’m on the moderately high zone bordering on normal. This has less to do with my eating habits and everything to do with my genetics protecting me for most my life.
That said, I don’t know that being vegan will actually help if you have a history of orthorexia and binge eating.

While I appreciate the sentiment, I think you use lots of problematic language throughout this video, as well as not allowing yourself to consume the "sugary" foods in their plain form. You imply that this diet is not balanced or healthy when you already balanced out the meals (even when you shouldn't have had to...I would also wonder if you were to pour yourself a full bowl of lucky charms and eat it straight up with milk, like one normally would, would that cause you anxiety?...just something to ponder.) You also implied that once teenagers are no longer teenagers, they need to stay further away from fast food and processed foods, which is very problematic, especially if teenagers/young adults (especially Charli!) have struggled with eating disorders. True food freedom and a healthy relationship with food is eating all foods, including fast food, anytime you want, without having to add other macro and micronutrients to feel okay about it. Think about how this would be taken from Charli's perspective if she sees this video. She was taking a healthy step and trying to enjoy whatever foods she wanted by eating her lucky charms in the morning, but would then see this and think "oh, I can't do that without hemp hearts and greek yogurt now," which is back to a disordered thought. Also, you claim that you had a healthy relationship with food when you were around this age, but have openly discussed your eating disorder that developed around the same time, which goes without saying that that is also problematic. I just wanted to share because your audience seems to also include 30-some-year-old women that also experience lingering disordered eating thoughts, so this is the comment for anyone who slipped into harmful comparison thoughts...you were right to eat your cereal in the first place and drown out dietician noise.

I'm sorry but I can't believe she eats like this and has a body like that. It makes no sense to me. Lucky Charms for breakfast, sugar coffee, McNuggets and fries, pasta with no protein, and then the s'mores? I don't know who this girl is, because I'm not on tiktok. But I've seen SO many celebrity "what I eat"-videos, and they only ever show high sugar, empty carb foods and fast food, yet they are very slim or have perfect bodies. I just don't believe them, at all. I loved Abbey's take on the meals as usual, to make them more balanced. Super helpful. But I can't help but feel like this influencer might be lying about her food.

It's cool to connect with the memory. They say time travel is done via the sensation of smell, and flavour comes from smell.

@@devynn7x I agree. But really, I think she's just mixing Lucky Charms with yogurt to justify eating junk food as a way to try to be likable and relatable to the audience because she knows most people simply love junk food. Admitting that I do have some binge eating issues, it's just triggering for me to want even more of the junk. Not good for my waistline. Food addiction is a thing today. Also, combining a junk food with a healthy food doesn't automatically negate the adverse effects of the junk food; I thought a Dietitian should know this. Please please as a Dietitian, set a good example for us.

@@giuseppeferrara952 abbey never said adding yogurt made it healthy or "negated" anything in the cereal, it was bc on it's own she said it wouldn't fill her up so adding something that she enjoyed w protein made it more of a breakfast for her. Instead of taking away a lot of foods that you really want or love its just a way of incorporating it into your diet by adding something instead of always taking away. Its just an example and not for everyone obviously as we all have unique bodies, tastes, requirements.
