Your son is a sweet heart! His whisper "that's fine" ❤❤❤
Thank you!! He really is a sweet kid. 🥲
Part of me thought, I wonder if you’re just saying that so next time you ask for a new video game I’ll say, “that’s fine”…😂😂😂💜💜💜💜
What a great idea Gaby!!! ❤😊. Congratulations and very well deserved Adriana!
Thank you so much! 🥹💜
Found you on Instagram and fell in love with your jewellery. Then TH-cam did its thing and here I am. It’s lovely to know you are self taught as I am a complete beginner who is going straight into wax carving. I’ve never had anything light up my soul the way jewellery making does. My mum passed away 2 years ago and one of the things that makes me feel close to her is wearing her gold necklaces and rings. I didn’t realise how precious jewellery was until I lost my mum. I always doubted myself but the confidence I feel when wearing her necklace is almost otherworldly. I take it as a sign and a comfort that she is telling me to follow my heart and my dreams. Thank you so much for your content, it is so encouraging. I cannot wait to create my own collection with a feel that resonates with my soul ❤
Hi Young lady , congrats on your work in the jewellery, you are doing well . As with another comment here I would advise you to get and wear a full face viser when you are pouring metal , just in case ,sorry to be blunt. not just glasses but a full face viser. Now 30 years in the casting and jewellery work myself and the viser did save me last year when molten metal hit some water in an ingot mould I didn't see. molten brass Hit my viser in 2 places. Your casting and investing machine may be better on a lower table or bench, so you can look down into the flasks and observe the behaviour of the investment whilst being vacuumed , and when you pour the alloy there is less of a possibility of any molten alloy falling towards you if something goes astray. Also any flashing in a injected wax pattern means the pressure on the mould is too low, or pressure in the wax pot too high, Wax maybe too hot, best to reduce the pressure in the wax pot first . Make sure the metal or timber plates you hold the injection mould between are flat, and a little larger than the mould. If after reducing the wax pressure the moulds don't quite fill , increase the hold time of the mould against the wax injector , so the mould is under a slightly lower pressure but for a longer period , this could be up to 5 to 7 sec depending on the size of the pattern . Another possible problem in moulds is that the top or the bottom of the mould isn't as flat as they should be , some smoothing of the top or bottom of the mould by rubbing on a flat sheet of sand paper can help especially if the mould is made from a poured RTV rubber.. Good luck John from Australia
This is all such great advice, thank you so much!! I will definitely grab a visor and take your advice next time I’m injecting!🙏🏻☺️
Amazing advise with the mask, thank you, I’m also getting into casting. Wealth of knowledge. THANK YOU!!!!!!!
Pepe flux and pickle are awesome 🤩 congratulations 🎉 well deserved!

Thank you SO much for the support! Your opals are gorgeous! I have always loved working with pipe opals and would LOVE to collaborate one day! ☺
That was very nice of your friend to contact Pepe tools. Pepe tools really was nice to send you so many useful items! My own experience with Pepe tools is limited but very good. They make the best prong/stone removers. I've used many types. But Pepe's made the absolute best one that I've ever used.
Great video Adriana, so happy for you! You share really great information and are so deserving of being able to make living doing what you love. Diversifying your income is a great move and will make your business more sustainable in the long run.
Thank you so so so much!!! 🥹💜💜💜💜💜
Congrats on the gift of the great Pepetools bounty! I love everything I've bought from them.

What do you use as ventilation when you solder wax or metal?
I’m trying to figure out what to do about my home-work space.
Whether I should buy a mask, or find some home-friendly ventilation option😊
I wish I had some sort of industrial ventilation going on, those fumes definitely aren’t good. I do wear a respirator from Amazon (the same one painters use) when I’m soldering. When I am melting wax I don’t wear a mask…maybe I should? 👀🫢
I do also open windows when I’m soldering to let some fresh air in. I hope that helps and I’ll let ya know my thoughts if I ever do get a good ventilation system. 🙈
Venting is essential especially on larger pieces
Thanks for the vid ❤
Your son is adorable and cute ❤😊
Thank you, he’s a super kind kid. 🥹💜
Hi! What is the best way of removing compound
residue after polishing. Do you use an ultrasonic cleaner? or other solutions? LOVE ALL YOUR VIDEOS! Sending love from New Zealand!
Could you recommend others electric wax carving pen? Or some with a cheaper budget?
Of course! I used the ARBE wax pen for about 2 years and I loved it! It’s around $160 zakjewelrytools.com/products/precision-wax-heating-tool
If you need an even more budget option, you can’t go wrong with just a spirit lamp, denatured alcohol and some cheap dental tools to heat over the flame, I did that for the first year 🙏🏻☺️
This might be a silly question, but do you prefer wax casting or using a blade saw with sheet metal? And why?
Not a silly question at all! I prefer wax carving simply for the look that I can achieve with wax vs metal sheet and wire. ❤
How many solder balls have you lost on the honey comb board lol
lol thankfully none!! I won't lie, i'm a solder paste girlie. I do use chips sometimes but 97.5% of the time, it's paste! 🙈🙏
I like what you do. The rings you make are only sculpted by you from what i see.
Thank you, they are! 🙏🏻☺️
What drill do you use?
I use the Foredom pendant motor 💜 I have it linked in my Amazon storefront in the description 💜
Can't you get the "members only" function on TH-cam?
Unfortunately I don't use Instagram that much.
And also: I would love to get a custom piece from you!
I thought that, then saw the "thanks" button above
❤
ha is so awesome and deserving
Thank you so much! 🥹💜
Can I ask if your business is already profitable after all these years that you are selling silver and gold? ❤️
Thankfully I have been profitable since the beginning, however, I have always and still do reinvest my profits back into my business so that I can continue to grow 🙏🏻 I have not paid myself from this and have been working full time for the last 3 years so that I can reinvest but I think I am at a point now where I can start to pay myself which is really exciting! 🥹
How do you balance your life working full time, having your own business and taking care of a young child?
First off, you can’t 100% excel in it all lol. I just do my very best and just decide to be ok with whatever that may look like. 🫠🙈 a lot of the time it looks like a lack of sleep, staying up super late, having a not so tidy house, take out a few times a week, etc.
My priorities are, be the best mom I can be, show up AS MUCH as I can with my business, push myself when I can but recover and scale back guilt free for a day or two when I know I’m at my limit lol. My husband also does a lot around the house as well which takes some guilt away lol
I just do my best. 🙏🏻💜
Hello !!
Thanks for your videos ,
I would like to subscribe to your Instagram channel. I see that you have added classes. What classes do you have available? Thanks, blessings ❤
Hello! ☺️ in my instagram subscription I give tips on wax carving, casting, investing, soldering, stone setting, etc. 💜
You are so sweet!!!
Thank you 🥲💜
Hi Adriana, thanks for the effort you put into your TH-cam content. Glad to see you offering subscriptions for a fee. Don't underestimate the value of your experience, and remember learning is a skill like anything else. You've spent alot of time, energy and money to get to where you are.
Can you not include the food stuff in your videos, it is irrelevant to a jewelry channel and off-putting to vegans/vegetarians.
Finally, please, please wear eye protection!!!! Leave a pair of safety glasses on each bench so you don't have to go hunting. You can't replace an eyeball 🤗
One of the great things about Adriana is that she shares insight into a tiny part of her personal life. It’s so helpful to see how she manages it all as a fellow human who also has a million things to do including making dinner for family. Is it so hard to just skip that part of the video? It was like second. Not everyone is vegan/ vegetarian and it’s really inconsiderate to assume that she needs to accommodate the needs of every persons preferences who watches her channel that surrounds her own lived experience.
