There was love and redemption when this album was done, just like there was a lot of emotional and intellectual intelligence up to the final product. Iregularly cite _The Unforgiving_ as the best metal album since Kamelot's _The Black Halo_ ,bar none. Which as many of you know was part 2 of their dual albums founded in and inspired by Goeth's _Faust_ and the follow up to the album which inspired the band name for Epica. Simone and Roy and the crew did amazing work on their back then, just as Sharon and Robert and the crew did amazing work on this project. Masterpieces, through and through. Love em.
Within Temptation is beyond great. I even love the little things like the way Sharon shows her control at the 3:33 mark, where she draws out awaaaaaaaay. You can see the steady stream of breath coming out! She has such control and the band has amazing chemistry, range, composition and musicality. I never tire of listening to them!! Probably one of the most underrated band out there, I was not even 18 when i found this band, and now when i see this at 30 and they only have 1million subscribers ... a lot of people just skip one of the best band out there.
This one hits different now after hearing it live twice in the recent weeks. I've always loved this song and can't believe that after listening to it countless of times in my room or in the car or while some trip during the last 13 years, I finally saw you playing it live. Definitively, the surprise of the tour for me 'cause I didn't think you would pick this one back on the setlist.

Within Temptation is beyond great. I even love the little things like the way Sharon shows her control at the 3:33 mark, where she draws out awaaaaaaaay. You can see the steady stream of breath coming out! She has such control and the band has amazing chemistry, range, composition and musicality. I never tire of listening to them!! This one hits different now after hearing it live twice in the recent weeks. I've always loved this song and can't believe that after listening to it countless of times in my room or in the car or while some trip during the last 13 years, I finally saw you playing it live.
